Yeah I feel like a lot of people don't realize Leah Kate is literally 30 years old, but I think that information really takes the song's absurdity to the next level.
Lol the comment section of the music video dunks on her, but I think she knew the negative reception would’ve gotten attention which is why she went all out cringe lol.
Her being 30 makes perfect sense because only someone that age would write such a song… anyways like all the other ones it probably is bad on purpose. People saw how tramp stamps blew up and thought ”wow if we just make a bad imitation of alt music angry tiktokers will give us free advertisement”

lol that Ghost album is AotY for me. I get why people dislike Twenties, there's a decent amount of theater kid energy you'd need to be on board with for it but I think it's genuinely creative and well written with colorful campy lyrics. Maybe it's because I went from symphonic metal and Faith No More in my teens to black metal now and my brain is poisoned but it sounded like Ghost doing a Nightwish song and wouldn't be out of place on a playlist with Igorrr on it. Love it.
Twenties is far from the worst song on the album
Bradley kinda looks like the actor who plays Lieutenant Dan in Forest Gump in the later part of the movie where he looks sharp in his suit

I gotta say, I'll always defend twenties. Is it weird? Yes. Is it flamboyant? Yes. Are the lyrics wacky? Yes. All reasons I fell in love with the track. To me, it sounds like the villain song of a ghost produced musical.
It quite literally is a villain song since the theme of the album as a whole is the rise and fall of empires. It is very obviously about a very theatrical tyrant that wants to overstay his time. (orange man)

I just think it's too much. Really, too much. Dance Macabre for example had a chorus that was so catchy, but this? It's honestly really hard to listen to, and I really like Ghost.
@@thebatman1482 everyone has their own tastes. I love the over the top nature of it. I'm also a huge ghost fan. It's unlike anything they've ever done and I love it for that. But I can see how some may not like it compared to their other stuff

I've never seen anybody have a neutral feeling towards Twenties, people either really love it or vehemently hate it. Personally I love it but that's just probably because I love Ghost for how goofy and silly they are as a band. I can understand why it was too extreme for some people but I just genuinely can't bring myself to hate it, I find it really funny.
I think the issue with ghost, as a metal head, is that they're not extreme.

I think one of the biggest issues with Guetta's "I'm Good" is that it barely changes anything from the original track except mainly the lyrics. I knew guys in middle school who came up with better lyrics to put in there that could have been a half-decent remix. ("I'm Blue, if I was Green I would Die, if I was Green I would die?") Point being nearly anybody who heard the original misheard or appropriated the lyrics for some joke or reference at one point or another.
And they came up with..."I'm Good, Yeah I'm Feeling Alright." With barely any song changes. It's just so fucking basic, the original was at least interesting for it's possible allusion to depression coupled with bad 90s animated music video staples. This one can't even bother being worth that.

I used to be slightly ahead of releases and heard unreleased music. I stopped caring cause so many songs that get noticed are fucking garbage . Some artists i used to be so hype to hear. Now i dont even give it a listen. Music for the most part has fallen off so much, id rather listen to older songs before mostly everyone sold out . Id rather have a handful of fans and keep it real to myself then have thousands or millions and be like a music robot to the industry
That biggie verse is off of "I love the dough" from the life after death album. Which means it's not even some raw unused recording they had laying around. Shit sounds like they downloaded a DIY acappella off of limewire in 2003.
