It's amazing for me how different, much more enjoyable, playing it with feeling, vibrato, etc, as opposed to just the mechanical one. How the same simple melody but comes to life. It was amazing. Thank you.
+ Fiddlerman, Now that's what I call playing! (2:29) It's when you play with the feeling, embellishment, vibrato and dynamics (and staccato and pizzicato when applicable) is what separates the expert violinist, such as yourself, from the beginner and even the intermediate player. 😊 ♫ 🎻
OMG you have such a friendly face! Makes me feel all fuzzy and welcome :D Amazing video, I'm just a beginner with the violin, and your videos are super useful and fun to watch.
+Fiddlerman I love this song! I play clarinet and I'm really interested in violin too. I always wanted to play violin when I was in middle School, but I wasn't so sure till now! Most of my friends are like "don't play violin because it's too hard!" Lol yea ok... The fingerings look really simple and easy! It doesn't seem that bad anyways, that's why I wanna give it a try! 😁 💗🎻

One other question , Fiddlerman. Would you be able to create a music sheet for cello (harmony) at all ,or know of someone or website that has something that would go with this beginner piece? I have one daughter that plays cello (my cello player is a beginner as well), and the other daughter violin and they love to play together.
Hi I am starting to learn the violin and I was wondering, let's say I want to play C on the G string, do I have to keep all of my other fingers on the B and A or can I just have it on the C...sorry if this is written confusingly lol
I think I answered your question on another video, but it's good to leave fingers down and not lift them more often or higher than necessary. With vibrato it could be easier to vibrate with one finger at a time but it's definitely good practice to leave them down. Do for now whatever feels the best for you. :)

You got it. :) I have some on my list to come. The list is getting long.
Yes, more hymns! Another great hymn that sounds awesome on the violin is, "Be Thou My Vision." That may be because of its traditional Irish melody. 🎻

Nice one. The sheet music in the background is not in GM. Guess you forgot to put the Key signature.
If you watching from Rome and you know a one on one tutor around the city please let me know, am in need of one 😢
