I've always admired Calvin Klein's lines of clothing's, men's colognes etc. and just happened to run across a brochure, with a nice portfolio of this video which I was about to trash, but instead decided to check the site first and now I'm glad I did. Very well photographed scenes and special effects, alluring, sensual, provocative and enchanting!

Love it! Alex and Suvi are both gorgeous, clothes are perfect, music is amazing, and there's some seriously beautiful cinematography in there. "Reverence In Worship" is my favourite part by far! Just one thing, though, on a related subject: Alexander Skarsgard is NOT suitable for the role of Christian Grey. Christian is a complete asshole and someone as lovely as Alexander should not be associated with him in any way. Thank God some other actor got the role instead. I do feel bad for that guy, though. His career will be as fucked as Robert Pattinson's by the time those movies are finished.

I don't agree with you. If you see, most o fashion advertisements and products are focused on women while men is now starting to raise. In this film the purpose of being dominated by him is that HE is the main character, so he is receiving the whole attention in this ad. Now, if you want to see more about women-control, see the SS 2013 Versace campaign, or the October 2010 Issue of Interview magazine featuring Naomi Campbell. There's lot to see out there, greetings ;)

Is the concept derived from the character called John Galt? I saw another set of short story by CK that appeared like Hank Rearden. I kinda thought Alex Skarsgård suits more of a Ragnar Danneskjöld type of identity.

Would you leave it alone? Alex is not going to be cast in this movie. First by the time they'll actually make it, he'll be 40. Second, they are not going to cast actors already starring in iconic roles in other projects. They are going to cast a bunch of unknowns and make them stars just like they did for the Twilight actors. And while I agree that Alex has the depth and acting ability to make Christian Grey palatable, I'm not sure if I ever want to associate him with those books.

That's an interesting response. I don't mind at all that you say that I haven't done my research - I don't work in advertising, and I don't spend all day watching Calvin Klein ads. Interesting response, but unnecessarily vitriolic. I take it you work in advertising? I still call it objectifying crap. And I'm entitled to my opinion. Advertisers shove their junk in my face all day - what, I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it? What kind of totalitarian hell do you dream of at night?
Which is why the author herself asked the fans to look past "the looks" she wants an actor who can act. Most of the actors that the fans are screaming for have good looks, but that is it. Either they are too short and cannot act, or just too delicate looking, or just plain boring, but all these men look good. But none of them would make a convincing Christian Grey, Alex is perfect for the role.
I wish people would stop arguing over this issue then since as you said, nobody knows who will be cast in this film, or if it will even be made. I'm so tired of seeing these posts that are completely unrelated to the video. None of the actors know anything about this movie because it DOESN'T EXIST. And if Alex were genuinely interested in being in it, he would have read the books a long time ago.
This is not meant to make sense it's art and it rarely makes sense. It's a stunning film and Alexander looks so hot in it. I would like to see him as Christian and his age won't hold him back I don't think the actors in glee are a good ten years older than there characters so that's not a problem but I would like to see unknowns cast as it would give them an amazing opportunity like it would be life changing role and it would make superstars of the two leads and people would still go to see
Some truly outstanding compositions but the lack of a definitive narrative loses people's interest. Obviously fashion still does not understand this, just look at their horrible Superbowl spot. I would have seen 30 secs of this instead. This should have been cut into 10 one minute spots unless of course we just see Suvi trying to writhe out of her jeans for 10 minutes. Stop being so narcissistic fashion. It just makes people dislike you even more.
This is the most extremely ridiculous commercial ever. It's trying to be art, but the purpose is to sell the CK brand. It's utterly hollow and sad. The characters have no connection to one another deeper than their mutual prettiness. Askars is awfully pretty, but even he can't make me want to watch this a second time.
Too perfect for the role, he is Christian Grey. All they have to do, and it is done all the time, is up the age. Better than someone who cannot act or is too short, or someone who is just so stiff, it is hysterical watching him try to act, or someone who is just all wrong for the role, Alex is perfect for the role.
We all have our own opinion, none of us know who is going to be cast in this film, I highly doubt it will be complete unknowns. I would love to see Alex in the films, as would many others. People who did not like the books, however do not. Too each his or her own. As for the age thing that is a complete load ;)
Mr. Bomer does not exhibit any qualities needed for the role. He is much too delicate and his acting lacks any kind of depth. He is very pretty, but much too feminine looking to be believable and his personal baggage would ruin any good feelings at all, about his trying to portray a straight romantic lead.
Oh for the love of god it is just a book, Better he do the part with class and talent than have someone who cannot act stand there and look like an idiot. And Alex wants to do the film, as he has said on numerous occasions. It has nothing to do with high or low standards, it is his job, let him do it, if he wants to :)
... And after an add like that he would have to be considered for the role of Christian Grey, even though he's not my personal image of Christian he would certainly work, and it helps that he is amazingly sexy. Just hope there's a good script writer to make the bad writing into a good movie!
Don't know who you are looking at, but it is not the same person in this film. As for Doce Gabana, I am sure that they hired some girly/boy for their ads, most do anymore. Alex is beautiful as is the female. He is all male, and does not mind showing it. It is a gorgeous film.
The people that hate the books don't have to watch it. He's already said that he would be interested in the part. I personally wouldn't be commenting about how horrible of a writer an author is when you spell people ppl and don't know how to place commas vs periods. Just saying...
