I redhead neighbour i am from a small Scottish village called sauchie its in clackmannanshire, central Scotland and about 6 miles from Stirling castle. We have worked the same land for centuries and have soldier's and navy and merchant sailors along with musicians. I am currently paying homage to my father who passed away this year i have been remixing his version of johny cope it's amazing the amount of old Scottish songs ,poem's of victory,defeat,love,hate,countryside the people its so cool you have the freedom to write in any style as long as it doesn't disrespect the originals.
This was in March 2020, just days before the whole country was locked down, hence the 'haz-mat' suits. It was probably the last time they busked on the street for a while, although they did a couple of 'lockdown concerts' from their flat (Ren and Romaine were room-mates).
I wondered if it just at the beginning of Covid

Nice to see the drummer get his moment in the spotlight too! You're exactly right, this is what music should do to you.
I haven't seen all their original songs but I remember seeing one called Watch Out that was really good and it was recorded as live busking too so has this same energy.

My Dad went on a holiday, in a wet and windy UK in the 50s, with his pals for the first time. He told me one of them had an acoustic guitar and was playing Chuck toons.
@@SuzanneO707 About 20 tears ago, I had a girlfriend much younger than I am who was in her 20s. She was in an airplane and had just taken her seat which was in first class. There was an old black man seated next to her. A stewardess came up and said to the man, "We've put your guitar in (someplace i forget) Mr. Berry will that be alright?" He said something like, "Yes. Thanks." From her association with me, my girlfriend knew something of the history of rock music. She asked him, "Are you Chuck Berry?" and he said he was. She said, "I'm very honored to meet you." He said, "Well, I'm very honored to meet you too."

@@brandonflorida1092 I haven't watched all of her reactions, so I can't really comment about that. I'm a bit of a newby, the ones I have seen are a mix up of both. This one is a look back at Rens busking roots. His album is no1 in the UK, an independent artist who has written and produced original material. Which she has covered to. I told my friend about the Chuck Berry story, he said. Chuck Berrys guitar should have had its own plane. Lol. Best wishes.

My vote for the next Big Push song for you is still "Watch Out", but the live (red suspenders) version first because of the crowd's energy, and then the music video version because it's incredibly cute 😄

I think there's a special energy to this one as it was just before the first 2020 lockdown in the UK. I love the Big Push's original song Why My Woman, but be prepared for Ren being a cheeky boy again! Streetlights (written by Ren) performed by Trick the Fox is ace, as is the Mashup (of covers).

This was on the night before the first COVID lockdown in the UK hence the outfits they are wearing - think this got a bit messy by the end of the set lol.
I'm not sure who was enjoying it more - you or the guys playing but the sheer joy and love for music is what resonates through and I can't get enough of it..
These guys crush it every single time - so versatile and eclectic in their styles too - Ren's musical influences are so varied as we know and Gorran has a folk background and Romain is also very eclectic in his tastes too (as you will find when you head down his solo rabbit hole - has some fabs songs btw).
If you want to see the guys do something completely different (but still amazing), I'd advise checking out their song Swan Song - especially if you love harmonies and seeing Ren playing an instrument you have never seen him do before.
