They look great - quick couple of questions. Why do you not do a final cure for the resin? And are there any issues with paint sticking long term, or with the bottles remaining sticky? Thanks.
Thank you!! In the past, direct post curing under a uv lamp has yellowed my clear resin before. Some of the bottles I have done are roughly 7 months old and they’re holding up great! The clear coat should hold up fine as long as the bottles aren’t sticky before hand. Just make sure to wash all the excess resin off with alcohol, and let it dry before clear coating. Depending on the clear you use, you may want to wait overnight before handling. Hope this helps!!
for the daughters little shop and doll playing the bottles did i made from acrylic glass rod and a lot of sanding and polish. but nowadays with this techniq and the printed labels ... wow, such a small size and perfection! plus with 3d printing one could make special things like the big bavarian beer glasses or a light blue water keg on such a stand.
Thank you! I use the free version of Fusion 360 to model the bottles, and Chitubox to slice the files for printing. Honestly the bottles are super simple to model, so I’m sure any modeling software should work. Thanks for watching :)
Thank you! You can download my 3D files and a PDF of the labels if you join my Patreon (Gold or Platinum) www.patreon.com/SmolWorldWorkshop You can also make your own labels by finding logos and images on the internet, and scaling them to the right size! Hope this helps!
Don't forget to prepare for all the safety setup when you getting such printer. Those resins are toxic and nothing to joke with in a kitchen or something. It needs an proper ventilated room with respirators and such. Inform before buying. Otherwise there are printing services.
SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! When I saw the miniature, I thought it would be an idea to make miniature bottles from nothing, starting from scratch... But I still like you and love your videos my friend! @^:^@

@@smolworldworkshop The yellowing is from "over curing' or basically continued to UV light. Your spraying with the UV spray is a great solution!

You sell miniatures?
Unfortunately not at the moment. Thanks for watching :)
Our local print shop won't print anything copywritten..
That’s too bad! Not sure if you have a FedEx near you, I printed mine at their self serve printer just fine!
Well lemme just run out & purchase a 3-D printer first. (Or just buy bottles on line $1)

Stop touching uncured resin with your bare hands!!!!!!
