The writing was delightful and humorous.
The imagery is incredible. A walk down memory lane for all us baby boomers. I admit I got a little misty eyed. ❤

Yes memory lane for sure. Remember we drank water from the water hose. Had 3 TV stations, ABC, NBC & CBS. WE NEVER HAD SEAT BELTS. We played outside and used our imagination to create things to do. We had to learn cursive writing. Kids today cannot write in cursive. We had to go to the library for papers and encyopedias for papers. We had to use a typewriter and use it well. Kids today have it made. What will they do if all this internet goes away?
3+ hours of D.C... Hell Yeah!!!!!!
Thank Mr. Bo Ray and Cam! This reading brought back so many wonderful memories for me and much needed laughter. ❤
Awesome Sir Cam Buckner
This narration is humorous and good . Well done BO RAY
Cam, good call readings this. It was AMAZING!!! Listening to your soothing voice I did the dinner dishes, made lunches for work tomorrow and prepped for tomorrow night's dinner. I laughed and smiled and all the memories stirred.❤ thank you for that Cam and thank you Bo!!! What a wonderful night🌻
Thank you so very much Cam. That book was quite the chuckle fest.
Brings me back to my childhood.
Cam, this video series is bringing back many memories from the yesterdays of life, especially the old pocket knife with one blade broken and BB Gun Fights...

Travel safely friend! I know this HAD to be a treat for ya, as it was sheer perfection! And you probably don't hear this enough - but thank you for hauling. It's a most important job and I think most people take it for granted. 🤘😁🤘
@melseitz81 thank you.
Cam I have been watching u and listening from the beginning. Even when u didn't realize how good u were at story telling and narration, A LOT OF PEOPLE DID. You are awesome my friend, a natural.
I 100% agree!! I took have been listening from the very beginning and I couldn't have said it better - just gets better and better 🤌❤️👏 this was nostalgic and humorous all the way through! Bo wrote something incredible here... And Cam brought it to life!
I too have been listening since day one. Back in the day when all you were excited that your channel would pay the truck payment. Watched as you singled handed launches a certin soap company. Chickens clucking in the background, the dogs crushing in your office . Your stories got me through back surgery, a heart attack and the depression that comes with a heart attack. The other listeners were correct, we knew howgood you are .reading these
stories before you did.
All these years later , I
still enjoy hearing your voice as I try and sleep. I hope you never tire of reading to us my friend. Oh, Steve Lilly needs to be made for the moviesb🙏. Be well Cam
Ditto
Thank you, Cam.
Just in time for my Saturday morning coffee, cheers from Australia Cam.

This guy is a great writer! I have laughed a bunch. So many of these references I totally relate to. I remember Fonzie, of course, and Captain Kirk. Great stories. I love it.
Yay! Right in time for a Friday night binge!! Much love Cam!

Oh Cam, I'm 1 hour in, loving this! As I pack my daughter up to move out, ugh!!! But I just know she'll be back, moving in with friends is a true test!( my emojis aren't offering the eyeballs I am expressing!) The white trash and adventure ( and all its descriptions)is so so good right now! It is March 18th and I'm feeling like I drank too much green in my beer, when I didn't. However, it is also a Monday, par for the course, lol. Anywho, I love ya Cam! Feel the squeeze! ( hugs) just simply awesome!
Superb Cam, absolutely awesome. Thank you to the author & having Cam read your book.

Cam I'm your number one cheerleader since moonshine was legal.😂 In my country at least.
And I do know a thing or two about broadcasting. Enough to get my diploma.
But I'm aware of the humble part of you. But also I can see like every one else you have talent on the narration department.
And also you are funny 🤣 perfect combination. Look at your numbers. You are amazing bro !!!! Take it too the bank and cash it in.
Numero uno Comprende señor??? Good 😃😃
@@figgiefigueroa7372 Gracias, amiga. Que tenga un buen fende semana.
The insight He has towards life is so amazing. The humor, well, we all need it to stay sane. The serious parts, with poetry like “just the other day”, show us the depth of his soul. Introspective, emotional and wise. If I could have written even one of those poems, I would have been proud of myself. He has put his life out for all of us. How blessed we are by this! Thank you for sharing this and thank Bo for writing it.
I couldn't have said it better. Great comment. Thank you.

I haven't laughed this much in ages❣️🤣 Thanks for the tiptoe down memory lane. Kids now days don't know what they've missed while growing up. In times such as these. I believe we all needed that. Thank you Bo and thank you Cam. A beautiful mind reset.
As a child of the MS gulf coast, my raising mirrors yours. Life here is divided. Before Katrina & after Katrina. Gone are the "old neighborhoods." Thank you for writing memories of a simpler time of front porch sitting, sweet tea drinking, bayou swimming and so much more. Bless you.

The satyr of my memories of living the 60’s and 70’s and the early years of married life at a time only us boomers can recall. I enjoyed the musings and classical sarcasm. I enjoyed the authors recollections as I remember my bygone years. Thanks for your narration.
Cam, you mentioned Catapla worms 15:28 . Back when I was 9 yrs old, I went fishing with my paternal grandparents. I was sharing the back seat with fishing 🎣 poles, minnow buckets, tubes of crickets, night crawlers, and redworms. We were halfway to the fishing hole and stopped at a little country store to pick up a tube of Bologna, a Loaf of white bread and a 6pk of Dr. Pepper in the glass bottles. As I sat in the back seat, something began crawling around my neck. Then, a bunch of somethings had taken over the upper half of my body. A coffee can of Catapla worms 🤢 had turned over and lost its lid. I came out of that car as if a Squatch was hot on my tail. 😂😅😂😅
Blessings, from the Foothills of the Ozarks of Arkansas.
I have Climbed a many Catalpa Trees after those worms, we used them for catfish trotline Bait and drop lines, many of the trees were covered with poison oak, as a young man it never bothered me, not so now--brings back good memories. from Arkansas Delta on Cache River...

Cameron, Thank you. I really needed to hear these stories and i needed the laughter brought about by them.
I just came home 2 days ago after being in the hospital for 7 days with a bad infection.
The chapter about the Quail made. Me cry, a lot. It reminded me of the morning of May 20, 1984 when my PapPaw passed away. All 10 of his children had been called home. He was dying of brain cancer at home. We were all home his 10 kids plus spouses and 27 grandkids in a large 5br farm house and no Air Conditioner. We had all the windows open and we all heard a Bobwhite Quail began to call beneath the living room windows out on the patio. Two minutes into the call, PapPaw died. He was 75yrs old. My grandparents had been married 54 years. I've never heard another Bobwhite quail call since. 40 years come May 20, 2024
