new subscriber here.. loving your simple vibes.. no unnecessary editing or flashy things.. just pure fun, joy & food.. thank you for showing the real authentic style of japanese living.. can't wait to see more of your adventures :) love your walking & exploring
Onigiri Bongo is ok, but certainly not worth the wait. You can actually take out and skip the line, but you need to place your order early. I recommend Eight Days instead. Beautiful space, with fresh delicious food, and at a very reasonable price.
Great video. I went to Tokyo during last September. I live in Adelaide, Australia. It was my first visit to Japan, and the Japanese people and culture in Tokyo was amazing.
Seeing the sights I'm reminded of old movies of 50, 60s/70s Japan. The street car was nostalgic. Like watching scenes from "Tora-san" and Shibamata life. Like the onigiri. Enjoyed the video thank you.
OH wow where have I been? I have not seen 10 of your latest video including this one so 11 videos or wait its just 10 I already watched Mama at night bar, wonder why I skipping videos and not watching in order. I been missing my brother and my friend Ken Honda but wait this video seems familiar I must have been watching this one aswell, I must have forgotten to comment and like this video . so it means I have not watch 9 videos. My brother Ken seems to enjoy the Karaoke time the lunch at the onigiri shop looks delicous and also does the pancakes .
@@ken_honda I went to see my friends band perform at Deepa. My friends play in band called, 7 Days Reason and they are from Fukuoka! Please check them out when you can. I travel frequently to Japan to see my friends perform live! Good Grief is another great band from Tokyo! They are also great friends of mine!
The onigiri sizes were intimidating, I think two would be enough for me. Btw onigiri always has savory fillings or sweet fillings can be found as well?
I love your videos so much and have been a fan for quite some time, however you need to make your videos much LONGER please - preferably 20 mins or UA-cam monetization doesn't kick in (please correct me if I'm wrong). In any case, make longer videos for our enjoyment please 🙂 Your videos offer different point of view to "Paolo in Tokyo", "Abroad in Japan" - two powerhouse UA-camrs with Japanese culture content, however I find your content more authentic. It's uniquely geared for 'Otaku" lifestyle or solo travelers / solo dwellers and non-mainstream individuals, which I think is super unique. Please keep up the great work & try having longer videos ^^ *GUYS, this channel deserves way more subscribers - let's get him to 100k at least*
Its always more lovely to watch videos from locals, than tourists showing the same instagram places.
Thanks for the comment!! Trying to capture what we, the Japanese see in everyday life!

Thank you for showing Otsuka. It's great to see my old hometown once again. Can't wait to visit. 😁
What a Wonderful area . Thank you Ken and Erica for taking Us along on your Otsuka Adventure.
How Ken was able to handle 2 pancakes after those huge rice balls is beyond me 😂 - awesome shorts!
I guess he has a separate stomach for something sweet...😂
My new goal in life is to enjoy food as much as Ken does!

The rice balls looked amazing! I’d be full after 3 of them as well, lol. Love your shorts, Ken!
And the pancake Dorayaki! For sure!

Glad to hear that you had a mellow afternoon with Ken!
This was fun to watch.

Everything looked really good. I definitely would want to try that shops that sells those pancakes. Not saying that the other shop was bad.
I'd love to go back and try with the black pepper as recommended!
Tomiyama Curry is very good! I ate there before heading to a live concert at Otsuka Deepa!!

3:14 How long was the line to Onigiri Bongo?
Thank you for another interesting video!
It depends on the day so we can't really tell the actual time but people were really quick eating! Thanks for watching!
Ken's appetite is admirable 😅
Not sure if you should admire but...thanks😂
I love this video, it felt like I was visiting Otsuka too!
Need to try the tram next time!
Yay new video 👏
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
"Ken can work from anywhere!"
Ken proceeds to work from everywhere except home haha
It's Ken! Yay!
Yay, Hi🥳🥳🥳
oh I saw you in Sanja Matsuri this year!
😳Wish we could've say HI🙌🏻🍺✨✨
Thanks for spotting!
It seems like Kodoku no Gurume season
The onigiri sizes were intimidating, I think two would be enough for me.
Btw onigiri always has savory fillings or sweet fillings can be found as well?
Could be simply with salt, which is called "Shio(salt) Onigiri", which you could enjoy the sweetness of rice!!
This channel is gonna become big, I just know it. Keep the great work! I just hope your next videos are longer, they end too son :(
We noticed other people also thought the same for the length. Thanks for the comment!!

Thanks for the uplifting comment! Yes, please let us GROW!!! Thanks for the comment as always!
UA-cam monetization was originally 10 minutes for mid roll ads, now it’s 8.
Who ate all the onigiri?
🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Ken does not mess around with food, he just stuffs it in his mouth with LARGE bites lmao
LARGE 😂. True, they were LARGE bites😂
No wonder ken has to walk everywhere. lol
He should've walked back home,,,🧐lol
Queueing for a riceball? Come on man. How much more different can it be from the local conbini?
There are reasons for people to queue...Why not go try out yourself!!!
