i think the health combining happens because all armored variants have a hidden "default health" upgrade that you cant see or interact with in game and it gets applied to the morphed character. torchwood has a default hp of 275 and metal petals default health upgrade value is set to 1.459 causing the health to go from 275 to 401 same goes for the speed, armored characters also have a hidden "default speed" upgrade thats there to slow down the variant (value is 0.8 for metal petal, her speed is cut by 20% thas crazy ngl)

I accidentally did this once and it freaked me out. I remember the Frost Citron having Rose’s animations and it was so cursed
I did this with my friend and we were like WHAT THE HELL IS THAT then we went on a murdering spree in the backyard
