Impressive. I remember reading about this being done with the 707 and reading if done correctly it's a 1g maneuver. Pretty neat stuff.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Imagine going home, your spouse asks how your day was. “Not too much really. Practiced barrel rolls cause the fancy took me!” I’d like to think there was one thing in life I can do that this incredible pilot can’t. Maybe it’s play the piano. Watching XH558, the AVRO Vulcan, barrel roll on take off was more spectacular. THAT airframe WASN'T designed for aerobatic manoeuvres(!)
