My two boys each have a laundry basket in their room for dirty clothes. My husband built me two wooden stands, one for sorting dirty clothes and one for clean clothes. I have 6 baskets in the dirty clothes sorter and then 4 baskets in the clean clothes stand. Our laundry room is off of our bedroom in our walkin closet so I just put my husband and I's clean clothes away when i fold them. The clean clothes stand is for my boys, they each have two baskets for their clean clothes. My husband and I just put our dirty clothes in the sorter when we get ready in the morning. Well, he sometimes does, sometimes they're on the floor on his side of the bed😅
This may be an unpopular opinion but I fold and put away my husbands laundry so I am able to keep it organized like I like it. And I’m able to see what clothes he is running low on.
