John Deere 110 Cleanup Project Part 1

  • I stumbled upon a John Deere 110 garden tractor with a mower deck, it was at an auction and I got it for a good price. I plan on cleaning it, fixing what's wrong with it, and taking it to display at a few farm shows. If I like it I might keep it. I usually have one or two other brands at the end of our vintage Wheel Horse garden tractor display.
    This is part 1 of a multi-part series. In this video I start taking it apart to see what condition it is in.

    I'm having trouble getting that screen off. I'm going to try tapping the screwdriver with a hammer like you did. I took the engine off completely to clean.

      Hey that's not a screwdriver, but an "impact driver". It's made so when you hit it with a hammer the bit on the end rotates a little, and at the same time the hammer keeps the driver engaged with the screw. They're fairly inexpensive at your local car parts store. I should have talked about that in the video.

    What is a good price fella ??? What is the inline fuel filter on the fuel line fella, John Deere original equipment or aftermarket, what brand Sir ??? Thanks
