Agree on a lot of your comment on this one, yup the sound was feeling nostalgic for me too, thus it was immeidiately addded to my playlist, IVE are getting to be a number 1 rookie female conternder group for me, 3 songs already in row this year only captivates me toward them even more. Another thing you point out this is more a MV for me and doesnt struck me as a commercial in fact, I only notice the PEPSI label ritght at the very end it said I WANT PEPSI, the visuals of IVE are top notch, I honestly didnt even notice the word PEPSI right at the very end, thats how good their visual are, Woonyoung always be my bias on this and love the vocal of my bias wrecker Yunjin, really lover her looks, so simple yet very striking

I liked NewJeans song for the Coke Zero promotion but I prefer this song. They used the video's visuals to promote Pepsi rather than mentioning it in the actual song lyrics.
I hated that song and that was all because of the chorus 😭

Love the idea regarding the ending of MV.
The lyrics are dont actually contain the word Pepsi, they have just used the brand in the MV. So it does not come up when strm the songs as it is and its such a laid back song.
The song is Sampled from Coldplay btw. It was confirmed by the producer of that song
man it's like 2 years ago IZ*ONE (Sakura ,Minju ,Yuri wonyoung and Soyou ) got the Pepsi commercial so it's the second time for Wonyoung . last year that was Rain , Ateez and Brave girls . Kang daniels and Zico sing for the commercial 3 years ago .
i love this song IVE alway's got great bit and addictng songs . and of course they're all stunning Yujin smile is everything .
Its actually a third time for Wonyoung, Her and Leeseo did one with Oh My Girl and Cravity members last year.

I’ve seen some other people say the chorus reminds them of Viva La Vida and I don’t heart it at all, the melodies are not the same however, I do understand that maybe the vibe feels coldplay-ish or 90s-00s band-ish, it feels warm & reassuring which I love a lot.
