- In this video we will unbox the Mackie ProFX12 Version 3. we will also demo the mixer by plugging into it. this mixer comes with a built in audio interface. It comes with all the software you need to record music, and Produce your own beats or pod casts. You can also use it to live stream to places like Twitch, UA-cam, and Facebook. This is great for musicians that are on a tight budget with limited funds.
This mixer will work with a Mac or PC. it also has been tested and works with Ubuntu. The DAW platform is Waveform OEM by Tracktion In addition to this you will get the DAW essentials collection.

Buy a bluetooth adapter box and connect the adapter box’s outputs to any of your stereo line inputs. Hope this helps✌️
can you just add amplified speakers into the sub input? or do they need to be subs?

God I regret buying the Berhinger Flow8, that thing has most of the controls hidden via bluetooth and is extremley unreliable 🤦♂

Hello thanks for the demo , just wondering if the gain control gets bypass when the line level is used?
That is a good question, and the manual does not say specifically if the gain is bypassed. I don't know, and right now my brother has my mixer. I don't know if he is going to give it back. I may need to get another one. Judging by the signal flow and signal path you would think it would work. Otherwise, the gain would be placed above the line in and not below it. Great video, just wandering if this mixer is capable of doing multitrack recording or just one stereo mix , can you share your experience?
You can do multi-track recording and the mixer does work with other DAW platforms too. You can record on more than one track at a time. You can also use this to create a final mix. My testing was not extensive but this is an affordable option for someone that wants to record music. it works well for that purpose.
@@marcuscurtismusic so is it possible to record in my DAW multiple synths? from what i've tried so far it only records a stereo track. i have multiple synths pluged in my Mackie and i can only see a main stereo in my DAW.
@@miusounds It will only record a stereo track at one time. It will allow you to overdub and add addition tracks when using DAW applications. Currently the specs are USB 2.0, 24K bit. It has two inputs so they can be one stereo or two mono tracks for recording. The USB also has four outputs so you can route up to four independent outputs from computer to mixer.

Hi, I have the same mixer and i'm trying to figure out how the guitar is actually connected to the mixer/speaker. So is the guitar chord connected to the 1/4 inch input on the back of the guitar then to the mixer.? Also how would you connect the guitar using theWireless Xvive U2? Thank you.
If you are using the Xvive then just plug the receiver into channel 1 or 2 of the mixer, then plug the transmitter into your guitar. Those channels can take a guitar chord (quarter inch) or a mic cable (XLR).

I finally matched up the Xvive U2's to the same Channel and I got sound, the bad part is I also got too much static and interference I will just use the guitar cord or plug the xvive U2's into an amp. In this method I should not get any static or interference. Thanks again.BTW Excellent tutorial!!
