Yes, Miss. What you have said about explicitness is correct. But my problem is with the word 'explicitness' used as an element of academic writing. Here the above word is not apt. Instesd of that you could have used 'cohesivness' which will bring out the correct idea putforth by you.

I have some doubts regarding the explanation given by you under features of academic writing in respect of explicitness. The explanation given by you that the contents are to be related with one another doesn't synchronize with the meaning of the word explicit which generally means clearly said and not implicit.
The same is the case with the study material of the uty.
Kindly clarify.
