As Leaf fan in the early 90s, they were a gritty team that somehow found way to win games in those years even though they never got to the finals. We saw a bit of that in the Tampa series, but that fire was completely absent in the Florida match up. Yes, there were some bad calls or no call, but no team is going to go far when their top guys simply stop producing.

The fact that Florida finish first last year in the league and got knock out in the second round and now Florida could be very well win it. As for the leafs next year could be different for them.
