I'm glad the abyss is easier for other people, the last abyss was easier for me and this new abyss is screwing me over atm. Just goes to show the abyss isn't a good indicator for account value since everyone has different teams and characters that'll make it is easier depending if you have the "right team" for it.
Same here, I don't know how to deal with the Wolf 😤 never gave it a shot in world, I hear you need geo but using zonghli and albedo I don't tick enough damage, which comp are you using?
I discovered how to beat it with 36 stars, but i'm way too lazy to get my extra 50 primogems to be honest.

@@frankfernandez2690 zhongli and albedo work really well against the wolf, on the shield phase just run up to each head and use both zhongli's press E and albedo's E and it'll kill each of them instantly

This was the hardest abyss so far because of the geo wolflord. He just flies around and wastes so much time.
Also forces you to use a geo character, because he wasn't annoying enough.

Never have I been forced to use a geo character in abyss, not even during Arataki Itto's banner. The wolflord is easily the most annoying boss to fight in the abyss so far, for me at least.
The lack of shielded enemies on floor 12 made it much easier. The abyss mages and Lectors put hard requirements on team building. This one just asked for single Geo character for 12-2. F2P players don't really have an excuse. Whiteblind Noelle on Gladiator or Husk is very good. I'd also argue because of the lack of hard team building requirements, this abyss is one of the friendliest for F2P

@@magiclover9346 I guess it really depends on the characters you use. Ayaka made quick work of the double hydro lectors.
As for the pyro lector, you just need 1 hydro character, but you can beat him with cryo dmg too, it's just slower. It's definitely more reasonable than the wolflord fight, which is a million times slower without a geo character, and you have to deal with obnoxious RNG and flying out of reach.
its really weird how genshin is like the only game where a characters dmg is subjective, like everyone has different strengths bc no ones accounts are similar to each other. like for me the triple kenki abyss was the easiest, last one wasnt super hard but was really annoying to do a different team for each chamber, and so far i havent been able to 36 this one yet. and i remember a lot of other people had it backwards where the triple kenki abyss was hard and last one was fine and this is even easier

But really, using Xingqiu's E skill 2x is much much more satisfying. I feel like he's incomplete without tapping his skill twice
12-1-2 was the hardest for me. The vishaps were hella tanky. Had to redo several times and hoped they would clump.
Same. I was able to get 2 stars in the other two chambers (the revival mechanic in 12-3-2 is annoying but easy to patch by resetting), but it's very difficult to kill all 4 of the Vishaps in any reasonable amount of time. It's shocking how much HP they _feel_ they have, considering that put together they should have less than the boss Vishaps put together...
same man I used morgana(ganyu+venti+ayaka+kokomi) on first side and xiao reactionless(jean+zhoingli+xiao+albedo) on other that's how I cleared 36 star idk why national didn't worked for me this time

This was actually the easiest Abyss floor 12 for me. Usually, I had to abandon per chamber and optimize teams in order to 9-star which usually takes me around 30 mins for floor 12 alone. But in this abyss it only took me around 30 mins for the whole floor 8 to 12. My team for the 1st stage was Ei, Yae, Kokomi, and Kazuha while 2nd stage was Xiao, Bennett, Albedo and Zhongli.

Yoimiya and Shogun is my savior this abyss🤣Shogun helps me cleared first half in under 1 minute while Yoimiya deleted more than half of the wolflord hp before the 2nd phase🤭 I hated previous abyss cuz I struggled a lot but this abyss is a bit easier for me.

@@akahito8053 me too! Here's some trick that I found out after trying too many times to 3* it. In the second half, try to go to a wall. If u use rational team, overload will knock back the vishaps and if u managed to pin them to a wall the other one will most likely follow and you'll have an easy time to group them up. For first half i found out either you have kazuha or just go freeze team as sucrose cc have too long cd and venti's barely make a difference (on big wolves) to group them up.
Funny. This was the hardest Abyss for me in months. The Golden Wolflord stalls so long. Finally got it, but it took a few attempts.

It took me a full 2 days to finally 36* it omg 💀 12-1 was the hardest for me as my invested character are ayaka and hutao and they both sucks at killing moving enemies. 12-2 was if anything the easiest chamber for me

@@someweeb5860 dude omg. I ends up going ayaka w ganyu instead of shenhe to be able to have higher freeze time and rational for second half. It was hell last abyss I easily have over 30 second left on the clock when I finished
definitely one of the rare easy abysses. The only problem for me is that on my second account, I dont have a strong healer, so I cant really get past the wolves. Gotta wait for Bennett to come back so I clear easier

For me, it was easy to complete, but hardest to get 36 stars in (I haven't been able to 36 star any abyss yet, just basing it off the time left over)
The wolfhounds and small vishaps jumped around way too much so my ayaka team was basically useless, the Wolflord doesn't sit still for more than 5 seconds so again my ayaka team was useless, and when doing Wolflord I couldn't even 1 star without zhongli+Ning so I had to change my team specifically for that floor... And my Ning despite being c6 just doesn't seem to have good damage output so I can't 3 star that floor... Meaning even if I really tried 3 starring the 1st and 3rd floor... It wouldn't do anything for me cuz I can't 3* the second
well. I built my Bennet and I finally clear 12-3 with my f2p account.
Got 33 stars which isn't bad, but I still need to level up all of my supports' skills as they are either lvl 6 over below. Hopefully I can get full 36 by next next rotation, as I round out my character and artifact builds.

Wolf lord is taking up too much time and it just makes the bleed just keep going while not getting closer to killing him since he keeps flying up and his vulnerable time is like 3 seconds
I liked this variation of the abyss very much! It made me bring Teams that I usually don't use and it worked out very well this way around. Managed to 36 star after some tries:
12-1-1: Keqing, Fishl, Kazuha, Xingqiu
12-1-2: Xiao, Succrose, Bennet, Zhongli
12-2-1: Ayaka, Mona, Kazuha, Diona
12-2-2: Ganyu, Bennet, Xiangling, Zhongli
12-3-1: Ayaka, Mona, Kazuha, Diona
12-2-2: Ganyu, Bennet, Xiangling, Zhongli
National didnt really work this time around for me. Electrocharge on 12-1-1 was the best for me and Xiao on the second half performed the best for me

Its an easy kill for noelle, shield + burst - 1 wolf, then the duration of her burst is enough to kill the other 2.
That's exactly it. If you don't have a Geo integrated in one of your teams, then this Abyss is gonna suck. People are telling you to use this Geo character or the other at level 20. That's not the problem, you can even use Traveler and destroy the wolf heads in 3-4 seconds each with E + auto attack Geo proc. The problem is your team is messed up now with a Geo character that does nothing for you and you lose a ton of damage/reactions/rotation time
I was worried about this, but I used a lv21 Ningguang with thrilling tales and instructor set and that was enough
2 hours spent and I can't even clear 12-3 when I normally 36* the wolf boss is the most toxic garbage I've ever seen.

Abyss also encourages you to use team comps you couldnt really use otherwise (except ofc if you have Ganyu, its just a walk in the park)
13:39 - 14:05 was so beautiful to watch how you were doing damage to them both at the same time. I had a lot of trouble having them group up like that and do damage to both the same time.
to me this abyiss is sooo great. Very funny, very fresh, something newer and interesting. But I have to admit that it seems easier to me than the last one.
I didnt have any f2p problem to get 36 stars.... but that is just me (maybe my two teams are great for new abyiss)
Only little problem was big Wolf bec I dont have geo team and only use zhongli and his pillar and burst did work.... but again this abyiss is dps not so hard but way better for playing

this abys was so much harder for bc of the specturs.... on both sides. they took all my time and energy that i didn't even try doing good after those.

Imo I don't really like this Abyss, since it's too frustrating for me (even with the characters that are built pretty good,) so I still prefer the older ones.

This abyss is actually one of the easier abyss to release.
This abyss is a bit easier for me compared to the last one imo. This lineup tests you on a bit of crowd control and knowing when to stop damaging one of the bathysmal vishaps so they won't recover in chamber 3 second half. The geo wolflord can get players 2 stars if you don't have a geo character in your team. The dps check here is not quite as intense compared to last abyss.

Them moving around is no issue because they die too quick.
I'm not subjecting my units to the hell that is floor 12, but this is the first time i've been able to easily clear floors 9-11 without having to restart on any of the levels

No, this is quite possibly the hardest spiral abyss I've ever seen. I can normally 36* with some effort but I can't even clear it at the moment. Spent like 2 hours and I'm not able to clear 12-3 all my characters are just so low on hp coming in after the wolf boss

all the recent abyss’ that everyone complained about were easy for me but this abyss is a nightmare, i was just barely able to 36 star with a different set of teams for each chamber on floor 12. idk why but the golden wolflord and the vishaps just tilt me so damn much and i had to reset so many times and player perfectly to just barely eek it outZ i have no idea what kind of teams would would nee to 9 star all of floor 12 with the same 2 teams

Man this is the easiest abyss we will ever get! I completely smashed it on my blind first attempt and got all 36 stars in like 30 minutes. It’s soooooo nice not dealing with that stupid ruin destroyer and mangu kenki for once! 😍I don’t want to sound like a broken record but it really shows you what our accounts could be doing if we had an electro buff
This was one of the few times I didn't have to growl at my screen more than once on floor 11.
Im so glad that it took only 1 try to finish this new spiral abyss. In the last past 5 Spiral Abyss it almost took me a whole week just to 36 star it

It would be heaven sent for me if i could even struggle on abyss even for a week, normally i just finish it within an hour after it refreshes.
Where's the point of having perfect artifacts if there isn't a place in the game that gives a good challenge.
They should customize the abyss for both weak and strong players, so that both parties would be satisfied.
Also.... Been waiting for them to release an endless version of abyss that has random strategies for almost a year... Sigh what's taking them so long.... So disappointing...

Just in case you don't know, if you're using hu tao against the wolflord, aim for it's take, if you charge hit against the body hu tao will use the wolflord as a ramp (literally) and fly away. It happened to me and was painful wasting a run because of a bug like that...
So far hardest Abyss in months. If previous last few Abysses I did first try with same team, here I needed to restart and swap teams.
I think they made 1st parts easier to give time for 2nd parts (like the wolflord and all it's animations or the vishaps if they revive due to an awkward animation). But yes, I find it easier.
The general consensus is that yes, it was the easiest Spiral Abyss. Each Bathysmal Vishap had around 400k more HP and the Wolflord had about 300k more, maybe then it would pose an actual challenge, but I guess people complained too much about it in the beta. The sentinels on 12-3 were originally husks, too!!
yeah people tend to complain especially this shit hole genshin comunity, like can u try it first and than comment afterward? Its like the abyss is sort of easy and hoyoverse never make it more difficult. Its just new enemy is stronger and thats it. But somehow people still manage to complain
As someone who doesn't have a built geo character of relevance, wolflord is a pita. Yeah, if you have a good geo support or a full geo team, this SA is probably super easy. When your only option is geo traveler or a sub-C6 Noelle, not so much.

I actually do think PJC is xingqiu’s best in slot, so don’t worry too much about those sac sword refinements (until ayato takes the 5* weapon LOL). Also your xingqiu is insane man.
Even the abyss in this update is super laid back. I hope abyss doesn't end up being too easy forever

This was literally my dream when I started. Now though I play Melt Ganyu (Ganyu, Healerfei, XL, and ZL) and Hypercarry Raiden.

agree with you so much...this is my first time only needing one attempt to 36star it right away
12-2-2 and 12-3-2 were the hardest for me bcuz I struggle to fight those bosses even in the open world and I dont have much experience with them as well... that said, i dont think i have enough DPS to take them down in time
12-1-1, 12-2-1 and 12-3-1 I felt were extremely easy, maybe not so much 12-1-1 but still, the second halves of every chamber was the problem for me, I could've 36 starred abyss if it wasn't for the golden wolflord, tanky vishaps and coral defenders boss
I mean...yeah...jade cutter is Xingqiu's BiS. Sac Sword is only considered better because jade cutter is a limited 5 star weapon

I have never beaten spiral abyss and never will. Glad you found this one so easy. I can't do floor 11 on this one.
Wolflord is the only struggle for me on this abyss. I skipped geo meta, so I had never fought this guy until now and I need to do it a few times and work out a slightly more optimised way of ensuring the shield is taken down quickly and I get as much dps on him as I can when he's actually hittable. It's ironic because up until now I had been thinking Raiden was the last piece to the puzzle and now I'm less than a week away from being able to get her and I'm feeling like she won't actually help with the only part I'm having trouble with. I have also wanted Albedo, and I know in this abyss he would have been the difference maker on wolf lord. Honestly, almost makes me reconsider getting Raiden because this abyss confirms that without a doubt it's not the real strength of my characters that's lacking but just that I need a bit more variation in order to plug the optimum character in at the optimum time. Upgrading my C2 Fischl to C3 Raiden with engulfing R1 and spending every primo plus swiping, probably would make less of a difference for me than a C0 Albedo specifically in this abyss.
Update, finished wolflord to complete my 36 stars. Just had to better utilise zhongli to get the wolflord shield down faster and be patient with my bursts to ensure I had them all up as soon as wolf shield was down and the huge dps window presents itself.
There's one advantage 2.4 abyss had over 2.5... chamber 12 1 1 was perfect for Damage Per Screenshot teams. Abyss in 2.5 is much easier though, indeed. I have used my current 2-team setup and tbh I struggled more when I realized I had to defeat a pyro and electro herald in floor 11 with my full geo team than all of floor 12 which I did in one go. The Wolflord was no match for Itto, Albedo, Zhongli, and Gorou.
Mr Tashed, generally speaking if we’re talking xinqui on ER weapons, Favonius is better till your Xinqui has 3-4 refinements on sac, but jade cutter/mistsplitter allow for more team dmg since you can run an ER sands.
@Sajedul Haque Ruhan Well a couple of things to note here which you either aren't fully aware of don't fully understand.
The motivation to run fav over sac especially at lower refinements is for 1. Rotational consistency and 2. Hyper Carry uptime.
1. So sac at lower refinements has a CD that outlasts XQs burst by 10 seconds, which can be a problem if you want to output max damage from your hypercarry, since theyll be limited by XQs CD. Fav on the other hand only has a 12 sec CD at R1 which means you can very easily refill every rotation. Like you said we cant proc Fav on XQs burst, but your XQ should be built with crit rate anyway, so its far likelier for Fav to proc over Sac since you can just AA which is very short (I'll explain the math a bit later), which brings us to the next point.
2. Hyper Carry uptime, doing both XQs skills takes up alot if uptime which can be a negative depending on how well built your carry is. In a Diluc team it's not particularly an issue since you're running Bennet also and you're XQ will likely outdamage your Diluc for the period he's on field anyway, but in other teams like a taser comp or a HuTao team where other units are fighting for uptime with little ability to amplify XQs E, you're wasting time instead. But a Fav will take a lot less time on field, as to your quip on the chances, let's say your XQ has a 60% crit (which he should btw) rate, at R1 Fav has a 60% chance to proc, therefore with 1 hit there is a 36% chance for orbs to spawn, and every following attack will have the same chance, so your E hits twice and you AA once, we do (0.64)^3 to get ~0.26or just 26% you don't get any particles after 3 attacks, a lot different to Sacs chances purely in a single target scenario, in an aoe scenario the benefits that apply to Sac also apply to Fav.

@Sajedul Haque Ruhan Once again a couple of things here, you have to remember I'm only arguing at lower refinements first of all. Another problem here is that you play hutao on double geo, her least damage amplifying team with the lowest requirement on rotations, it is the safest and easiest but also the weakest by quite a bit. If you were to play an Amber elegy hutao team or a tankfei hutao team your rotation is alot longer amd complicated than just XQ E Burst E Zhongli Shield and Albedo Skill. In other teams (specifically taser comps) it's less that the other units are so OP it's just that they'll do more damage than XQ, for context my XQ on his E does around 40k each, sucrose on swirls will do even more in an aoe setting. If you're running a Raiden Taser comp Raiden will do more damage, if you're running a Beidou Taser comp Beidou will do alot more damage. The main purpose of Fav isn't for other units mind you, its for xinqui himself, its so you can run just Fav with an Atk sands for example.
@Sajedul Haque Ruhan you’re still a bit confused, the reason tankfei and thoma hutao teams are stronger is because of the ability to swirl not because of pyro resonance, thoma doesn’t steal vapes if you play him correctly or if you have a c6 XQ, the effects of swirl alone are stronger than geo resonance and albedo- let’s say you’re albedo does 20k per tick, in a tankfei/thoma team (with sucrose) Hutao will do 30k+ more damage on a CA (mind you this is on my account, I go from 50-60k CAs on double geo to 80-100k CAs on a swirl centric team, in reality my dmg is enough to just run double geo and it will be easier but I like min maxing). I didn’t say Raiden National, I said Raiden taser comps which is a bit different (Raiden Yae Kazuha XQ here Raiden and Yae do more burst dmg and XQ really is only here for his burst, also in Raiden comps you don’t want to run Sac anyway but a more dps weapon like jade cutter/mistsplitter or even lions roar because his burst does way more damage). Regarding Beidou the comparison is just made as to what they do on field, XQ can do 2 Es with Sac for me totalling 80k, Beidou on a perfect counter does the same amount of damage but in a shorter time. The main point I was making in my OG post which we’ve both flown past though is that no matter how strong XQs E is, a majority of his dmg will come from his off field burst, so at low refinements running a Fav over a low refinement sac will allow you to get said burst far easier. We then sidetracked a bit discussing XQs double E, my point being generally in XQs better team comps there are units who would use the uptime a lot better which is true especially for me since I have my carries properly built and I like running teams with complex rotations though I must admit abyss is no where near as difficult for that to be a genuine issue or concern.
I'm still waiting to actually be able to finish floor 12 without my entire team getting wiped out
the abyss its easy, ignoring the floor 1 part2 and the wolflord, since they have so much HP that they force you to limit the timer
If they ever, if it happens in the future, make the peaks in genshin like the ARs and all stuff, it's gonna be a huge impact.
After this video i try jade cutter xinqiu paired with raiden...100prcent burst uptime,and the dmg is insane!!
Fav sword is better than sac because it gives you more energy in less time

The mobs hp is way lower than the last bunch of previous abbys but this one is more gimmicky. I find this abbys easier than 2.4 because i wasnt really using the optimal team comp for the first 2 abbys in 2.4

This abyss is easier than the previous one, but i'm struggling to get 36 stars bc i don't have a good geo carachter. Guess i'll have to build Ningg or Noelle... ZHONGLII, WHY DIDN'T YOU COME HOME??!! 😭😭
No need to build. Just take ningguang, give her a ttds and you are done
I used gorou to destroy the wolflord shield and went pretty well

I think i understand why Mtashed says this abyss is easy. My team used:
1.Raiden National. (Floor 9 until 12-3. Yes all the way)
2. Morgana team. (Floor 9 until 11-3)
3. Xiao -Jean + Double Geo (Zhongli + Albedo) (Floor 12 2nd team)
You can clear it in one try without bothering to break up team comps or swap out members often to get full stars.
Never struggled in the abyss for over six months now after I got my c1 hu tao+Ayaka and mistsplitter
hitting those floaters is a nightmare

Agree, this abyss is easier overall than last one. But it took me an hour to beat that golden wolflord, i tried different teamcomps, in the end yae's turret was the answer..
the only annoying thing abt this abyss is the wolflord but everything is prty chill ngl

12-3-2 is the hardest one for me, i barely survive it but still those 2 monster made me stressed & cursed a lot🤡 how tf they heal & revive each other
it depends on the timing. Once i timed in horribly, one dies while the other one revived it TWO TIMES. I quit the game and player honkai after that.
agree, its super easy, even the worm in 12-2-2 can be killed exactly in raiden's 7 sec musou isshin uptime
And then there is me who still can’t clear 12-1 because I can’t deal with the stupid corrosion wolves
only difficulty for me was finding a team to throw a geo character on lol

Last abyss was a horrible experience for me but this abyss was the easiest primogems of my life, I hope we keep this rotation until Sumeru drops

THIS Abyss was super easy for me i didnt really have to think much it was just ayaka freeze first half mono geo itto dps second half for me 36 stars in like 20 mins or so yeah, i have been playing sience 1.1 tho soo
I put the Jade Cutter on my Bennet to get more damage. I wished on this weapon banner just for it. Now I can put the festering desire on someone else. Bennet is normally paired with either Zhongli with R5 favonius or in a Raiden team. No energy problems. After about 10 months of playing I stopped focusing on character banners and was willing to miss a limited character for a patch or two to get some R5 weapons. Though 100% agree don't chase weapons until you a 3 really solid teams you can take into the abyss. Having 5 star weapons means you don't need to farm as hard for new characters because many of them are stat sticks. 110 wishes on weapon banner and 1 sac sword lol. It's like the hardest 4 star weapon to pull. Been playing since 1.0 and it's still R2
I'm aiming to be a f2p God for fun, all I'm missing are more weapons and Kazuha, that's it personally.
ive always found xingqiu one with sacrifical vs a DPS weapon always a even trade because just how hard his E hits even if he does take a bit of field time vs a higher over all time
I honestly just trying to have fun with the Spiral Abyss with my Waifu Harem build. So yeah, no Diluc, no Zhongli, no Kazuha, no Benneth... But I have to add Xingqiu though, cause he's the only Hydro Liyue character at the moment, until Yelan release and I will replace him.

last abyss was easier for me. this abyss proven more difficult for me because of the characters ive invested in. but thats what makes it fun
while it might seem easy and all, at least personally I still struggle jesus, at this point is it characters, is it because of mobile, is it artifacts, is it rotations.... if you feel up for it, as a viewer, I would love to see account reviews on how to beat the spiral abyss from you, as those usually garner good views and help the viewer community because if its so easy wtf where am I going wrong

Mobile hurts a lot! Team comp is important but the wolf specially is hard because Zonghli alone doesn't cut it, what team comps did you try?
Assuming you know how to build characters it’s usually team comps, if it’s not team comps then it’s rotations, if it’s not rotations it’s artifacts, if it’s not artifacts then it’s player skill. That’s how I think generally the ladder goes when you are you struggling to do abyss
