    Step-by-Step Breakdown:
We'll go through every move of the kata, from its distinctive stances and blocking techniques to its powerful strikes and transitions. Each section is carefully demonstrated and explained so you can follow along or refine your own practice.
    Kaisetsu:
Uncover the practical applications (kaisetsu) of the kata's techniques, where we not only apply them within the context of traditional karate, but also show how these movements can be adapted into jujutsu-style joint locks, takedowns, and disarming techniques.

See how the fluidity of Wado-Ryu's jujutsu roots are interwoven into the kata's movements, enhancing the effectiveness of Jitte's defensive and offensive techniques. We will explore concepts like blending with an opponent’s attack, utilizing both hard and soft techniques to control and neutralize threats.

My thanks to all participants for this thoughtful demonstration and expert analysis. I'm much too old to consider training myself but I do find martial arts fascinating to watch.😊

@dalehill6127 never too old, we are all now practicing beefed up taichi and it suites us very well. Glad you enjoyed the video, part 2 will be released next Saturday.

@@WadoRyuBenkyo Thanks for that.😊 Well, if you were to do a demonstration video of your beefed-up taichi I might have a go at it - I trained Wu style tai chi for a couple of years about 20 years ago and might remember some of the movements. I used to love Single Whip, Needle To Sea Bottom and Wave Hands Like Clouds...😀
