Cadillac has it down when it comes to cohesive styling across their lineup. You can’t mistake it for anything except Cadillac when you see them coming down the road
It s not all good. First there's subscriptions. Make sure there's aren't any. Nobody should pay for features on a car they've already bought. Things like updated CPU or software features are different. But even those should be free update for a fixed number of years. Second, GM's monitoring system. Make sure your car isn't spying on you. GM all but invented the clandestine spy features. Those are the reasons I'd be cautious about buying from GM.
I knew the zonk was coming for the fake area on the front grille. I don't mind the gloss black on the fenders because it matches the gloss black on the mirror caps. Oh wow, heated and ventilated seats for the mid row is amazing, with massaging too.
they made it clear a long time ago they were going electric- and yet people continue to be surprised when they arent replacing their existing gas models with gas models.
@shethjones4494 it's just disappointing because the industry isn't going that way. They're going to either have to update that xt6 or just lose all their customers in that segment to either Buick or other brands.
@@dtay8913this. And I’m sorry but most people in the Cadillac market aren’t going from an XT5/6 to a Buick. The new Enclave is a great looking car but you generally don’t go from a Caddy to a Buick. So they’ll just cede a lot of that business to competitors who are still offering ICE vehicles
4:00 mark correct the mileage with a title (300m) the Cadillac escalate IQ get 460 mile range with 200 kilowatt battery. The Vistiq gets 300 miles range same as the lyric both have 102 KW size battery!

I know lots of lyric drivers love the power. But it was a massive step backwards. Also the ass of the lyric is ugly. The ix grill is way too big but the ass is sexy lol
Gotta say Im a big fan of this. Generally anti-EV, but this thing looks great inside and out. Price isnt crazy either, slots in between the Kia EV9 and Rivian R1S.
With a 460 mile ranger I would seriously consider Vistig. I have had Cadillacs since 1984 and presently have two a 2019 CT6 and a 2023 XT6. The Vistig is a great replacement for the XT6 however I wouldn’t have considered it but with that kind mileage I certainly will now. Oh and it’s also beautiful!

I think you said the Vistiq has 460 mile range, but Cadillac's website says approx 300 miles. I love this vehicle, and if it has 460 mile range, I'd seriously consider purchasing one.
I think there's confusion here with the Escalade IQ. This vehicle will only have 300 miles of range, and not have 4 wheel steering. Love the videos Joe, just wanted to post this opinion.
Went to the NAIAS yesterday and GM had the best cars at the show. Both Chevrolet and Cadillac had affordable, great looking EVs that look like normal cars, instead of chasing the terrible Tesla look, both inside and out. I hate cars that have the iPad-like dashboards and plain interiors like the VWs and while the Mach E has a nice look, the dash is horrible. Even Rivians have interiors that really say nothing as far as style is concerned. I thought I’d prefer the Honda Prologue over the Blazer EV, but it’s not even close when you actually sit in them. The EV race tracks were also pretty good at showing the acceleration of EVs, and the Equinox seems a lot quicker than posted 0-60 times.
You need to keep your ladies far away from Visdiq, especially the big black ones, or they’ll never go back to their little white sedans. Visdiq is huge! Love your review
The Vistiq is probably the most attractive of Cadillac's EV SUVs with the Optiq being a close second for me. The parts that bug me about the Lyriq and the Escalade IQ are the rear. In the case of the Lyriq, I'm a little iffy about the lighting that extends near the rear quarter window, and as for the Escalade IQ, the rear simply doesn't look as confident as its ICE counterpart. Plus, the Escalade IQ's partially sloping roof looks a little awkward from the side and I know they probably did it that way for aerodynamics, but still.
My parents bought an XT6 a few years ago (nicely equipped) for around $55k. Now Caddy is doing away with the XT6 & replacing it with an EV starting around $80k?? If I’m not mistaken, isn’t Caddy’s target demographic in the age group that doesn’t gravitate to EVs?
Joe are you sure this vehicle gets 460 miles of range? I thought only the IQ could get to that range level due the much larger battery size? Other sources say the Vistiq will get around 300 miles of range or so?
Hey Joe snd Lori great review of the Cadillac Vistiq. You guys do such a great job of reviewing vehicles. its great they're expanding upon the Liriq but I also think that Cadillac and GM also cannot forget about Hybrids! I live in NYC, we don't have the infrastr😮ucture to go all EV by 2030! How do you feel about that?
Cadillac is doing EV right, make it look like a conventional car, give it a lot of horsepower and the price is reasonable for a luxury car. The XT4, XT5, and XT6 are total duds with their Chevy 4-bangers and front drive platforms. They can throw all those away and go with these EV's, the Lyric is their #2 seller.
The third row is a stretch with your knees in your chest. The price is a bit pricey, especially without the 7500 fed rebate. The 400 plus miles on a charge is impressive.

I know what you're thinking. Now joe, I like what I'm seeing and I just found out that i have 5 kids. I know, it's crazy. I need a big electric vehicle to take everyone to school, how much is it?
It starts at 78,000. Who buys these. Sorry but what happens to your battery in your iPhone after couple years. It starts to deplete same with these. And they lose value so fast it’s incredible.
So in terms of "luxury" screens. They finally added a screen for HVAC and seat heating and cooling functionalities. They should do this for their gas versions. Maybe add a hybrid system to all engine types. So a hybrid 2.0t and a hybrid 2.5t. They completely forgot their XT4/5/6 models. @shethjones4494 Congrats maybe? How many hybrids sold last year in comparison to the year prior? Now look at how many EV's sold last year compared to the year prior. Which market is growing faster? Which market for probably the next five to ten years will make more money? Hybrids. It took how many decades for hybrids to account for a third of the US market? The hybrid market for the next 10 years will probably continue to grow regardless of battery technology improving for EV"s. People are more accepting of hybrids than they are EV's. But hey congrats on the 1.2 million EV's sold. They'll probably hit their stride in the next 14 to 16 years.

Always point the camera down into the center storage so we can see: how deep it is, if there's any lighting, and the ports it contains, etc.
