I have never heard of anybody buying a bag of used crayons, especially since crayons are so cheap new. I understand wanting to recycle, but it’s easier to just take the broken crayons and melt them into cute shapes to be reused by your own kids rather than spend all the time putting up an auction on ebay and likely losing money on the whole think.

I don't know where when is selling all of this at to make that kind of money but nobody around where I live would pay $20 for a bag of crayons that you could go to the store and pay significantly less for.

Remember, there are many people who live in the middle of nowhere and have to drive long distances just to buy groceries....Heck, even Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman, says she has to drive a minimum of a half hour to the store.
Those people buy unexpected things on line & figure in the cost of gasoline, wear & tear on their vehicle and their personal time when they calculate what something is worth to them.

So I was taking surveys for Sirius XM Radio.I got $10.00 here,a dollar there.Then they wanted me to answer more questions,such as,what station are you listening to today and what songs are you hearing on that station and so on. I guess if you have a lot of spare time on your hands like after you have retired and really need that money, I can see where it could be profitable. Kind of like doing coupons. Depends on how much time and effort you put into. Is this what this is like?

$50 dollars for toilet paper rolls? Not true, just went to eBay and you would have to be selling a minimum of 300 empty rolls to get that amount of money, This without counting eBay and shipping fees.
Meli s I never pay shipping when I sell on eBay, I charge the buyer & they never question it....you have to pay shipping on any other shopping site!
As it happens, I probably have several hundred tp cores as I was saving them for a teacher's supply center near me that was closed down for a while when they moved.
Maybe now I'll sell them instead of donating...I'm not even sure where they moved to!

GOOD LIVING Search You Tube, Pinterest and craft sites for projects...there are all sorts of crafts using them. I even saw a wedding favor made of a tp tube, covered with giftwrap & the ends folded in to hold little do-dads for the guests! 😜

I was wondering what the toilet paper rolls are used for? Paper towel rolls can be used for the same things I guess. I use the rolls to put a wad of lint from the dryer and receipts in the empty rolls to start a fire in the fireplace and fire pit.

They didn't say how much crayons, but it would have to be a whole lot. That's where they went wrong here is they didn't say how much of each and when they showed a little bit, we all knew that couldn't be right. It shows that those items sold on CL & eBay, whatever but again they must have been in really large amounts.

Total BS! Been selling on eBay for years. She is WAY overstating those prices. Example: 12/26/17. a 3-pound box of broken crayons sold on eBay for $10 with FREE Shipping by Priority Mail. This would have easily cost the seller $7 to ship. eBay and PayPal fees would be another $1.30. The seller is left with $1.70, not worth the time to write the listing, upload the photos and then pack & ship.
