Could hear that ice breaking. Did the tugs or the Coast Guard make a path first?. SHe was moving pretty slow did you feel the vibration from the engines. Thanks Paul
The Oberstar came through about 40 minutes before, the ice was pretty loose still, the Tugs were in there making sure the Oberstar would arrive smoothly. It was still quite cold, so it the ice starts to "knit" together quickly. Indeed, you can feel the vibes from the ship as she passed!
I heard that the Philip R Clarke could get scrapped, is that true? There are rumors that she might go into long term layup like the Cason J Callaway, and have a similar fate. Anyways thanks for showing us this cool POV of the Lee A Tregurthia arriving at Fraser Paul!!!
Super cool POV, Paul! Glad you are posting some videos for us starving Boat Nerds.
Thanks! I have a whole bunch of videos from this season I plan to post over the next few months, I'll try to keep them coming!

Superior massive maneuvering. Thanks for the info from Lake Ontario.
You're welcome! thanks
Wow, just wow! The image, the ice....wow!
Thank you!
I got the feeling there for awhile that you were ON the ice
Sort of was, just over on the edge, if it were to break through, I'd have been in about 1' of water.. Low risk
Very pretty. Hope you’re all thawed out by now🥶🥶🥶😁😁😁.
It was indeed very cold! Now not a lot happening, "idle hands"..... 😁
Winter's nap.
Indeed! Still a bit of action on her during the day! Keeping an eye on her out my office window!
