First time I heard this song I was at work. To be honest I did not really listen, just thought it was about a failed relationship. Couple of days later I was in the van going home and the song comes on. I listened to the words this time. By the end I was crying my eyes out. My 19 year old son is going through so much pain at present. He has had to come home from university as he is at breaking point. We are getting him the help he so much wants. I am 58 years old and don't understand the first thing about mental illness. But this song has spoken for me to my son. We both love Liam, seen him together twice now. Thanks Liam, You have helped me so much in understanding the pain of this illness.

Listened to this song the day i was released from the hospital after major surgery. Saw someone die as i was waiting to be discharged. Really put my life into perspective. I sat in my living room with tears pouring down my face as i listened to the song and recalled the last week in hospital. Liam Gallagher, your music will always be special to me. Plus you are a top bloke, with a big heart.

i dont; think we need to have a greatest of anything, that's part of the problem with everything these days - living up to straw men or over the top expectations when the reality of life is just to do be yourself and find things you like and enjoy. The song i feel is a sobering message and it's a nice vocal but i've a problem with overhyping humans as gods (when there are no gods), and being of this generation i would say there are lots if good singers and Liam is one of those.

If you're a mum in a difficult marriage but you can't afford to leave & you're suffering from depression & just feel like you can't take any more you want so much for it all to end. But you can't do that to your kids. You know it would destroy them. Somehow you keep going. But each day you're broken inside. This song says so much. Maybe there is hope. I really do hope I will be stronger than the damage done, that the universe wil provide a guiding hand a crack of light. I hope I am too good for giving up.

Lot of us have been there Kevin.. I don't usually share personal things but for me I have a long-term condition that means I have an easy option..no thinking no planning just stop taking my daily tablets and it's fatal two days a week not sure, but I'm still thinking of others as I know not one person in my small family can afford to pay for a funeral £4.500 ..so I have to try something else..bought paint, brushes, etc and painting bathroom tomorrow instead of trying to Bury my head in the sand find something you can do or learn
This song came into my world just at the right time, I was at the lowest point of my life and in a very dark place. The lyrics picked me up when I felt like I couldn't take any more and every time I hear it, it reminds me how much strength it took to make it through the other side. Thank you Liam ✌️ + ❤️

I adore this song and video. I think it's the blatant optimism in the music of Oasis and in Liams soul that makes him and Oasis so great to Listen to. It's Gospel Rock and Roll. It gives you hope and takes away any worries or fears you may have. Liam is like a really good preacher in a church. Because you totally trust and believe him when he sings "it's going to be alright" "were going to make it better" or "the universe will provide a guiding hand a crack of light". The best of Oasis and Liam's solo work all have the same underlying pure optimism and a spiritual faith in the universe. And surprisingly,being an unabashed optimist,in a world obsessed with fear and anxiety, is by far the most punk rock, fuck the establishment thing Liam or Noel ever said or did. It takes a true rebel to be an optimist in a world where fear is a weapon used to control the masses.

As a person suffering from depression and with a (thankfully failed) suicide attempt, I feel particularly touched by this dedication. Everything has gone wrong when I have been betrayed by my former girlfriend. 2 times with two different girls. The most recent and important nearly three years ago. This event proved me so much and last month I had a rebound of my depression, anyway I have recovered and now I'm well even if nobody can predict when my illness will return in a strong way. I obviously Hope never.
This is a great song, and it’s uplifted me…deserves to be no.1

This song is phenomenal, the lyrics are pure poetry.
These lyrics hit so close & are so very real. I'm a single mum of 3 almost grown kids. My daughter has severe autism & epilepsy (uncontrolled), my youngest has CPTSD from seeing his sister having resus at home when she was wee & has been shut in at home ever since, afraid of the world; my Aunt's just received oesophagaeal cancer diagnosis ( resection today & starting radio/chemo soon; Mum got a pacemaker last week after collapse; just gave the last of my overdraft to utilities & turned off all the heating & most lecky, & so it goes on & on, BUT, I heard this song on my way home today. I've spent every night for past 25yrs chasing every sunrise,, and yes indeed keeping vigil by my bedside light; one seizure, meltdown, crisis at a time. I know there's many, many folks in similar positions.: Carers & Young Carers, folks who're totally skint, and so many other difficulties. Don't lose hope or sight of yourself. We can't always change the hand life's dealt us but there's comfort in knowing how much we mean to those we care for. I'd be a liar if I claimed things aren't often utterly hellish, but sometimes the tiniest of victories are enough to keep you pushing on forward, and if u can share your worries. sorry to hear about your worries you have been through it I will pray for you if it ok I seen heartache to I lost my father when I was 15 my sister pased away at 30 she had been ill for a while itried my best to look after her and my mam then she died after it still had hard I distill get tearful sometimes but hearing this song makes you feel little better I realise sometimes life is very hard but I try to bevo positive I hope everything will get more brighter for you thinking of you hod bless dominic
Nothing I can say will help you get through each lonely day and night, try and see what may be available in your local community it’ s not easy to push for help, but make yourself do it. We used to have a health service that was second to none, but now you can’t even get an appointment, I fear for people struggling to buy food and heat there homes in the
