Sometimes, I think that the best tricks are the ones that are the simplest. And this card trick really proves that! Well, I'm not a beginner but I was very surprised to be honest! Excellent trick!
I'd try showing the force card first as if the card they cut to changes the cards on the table. (edit: All this does is change the style slightly from a random chance trick to a prediction trick, a "spectator does the trick" trick or even, if you add a switch while you get the threes, a triple change. These changes might fit some styles over others: for example my handling might look something like this. Take out 3 aces, show them and say they'll be significant later. (adding purpose to the 3 cards) Switch them for the threes, probably with the Vernon addition move. (Darwin ortiz also has a nice multiple switch which you can find in Lessons in Card Mastery) Go through the shuffle sequence, emphasizing their free shuffling and hinting towards them cutting the fourth ace. Because you don't actually need time misdirection for the cross cut force ( ua-cam.com/video/htf6DTBAXHU/v-deo.html ) show the card after minimal patter ( you can add in patter if you want the misdirection though) This is nice because you get a classic "Magician in Trouble" plot, and you can show the aces have changed into threes. Sorry for the essay, these are just my ideas on this plot.
Only reason why I wouldn’t do that is because you need time misdirection for the cross cut force to be effective. That’s why I show the 3 cards before to distract them from the cut which I reveal at the end.
@@AMillionCardTricks actually, there was a study done on forces and it was shown that you don't need time misdirection for the cross cut. The actual study needs to be paid for to access, but here's a video on Jeremy Griffith's channel where he talks with the researcher: ua-cam.com/video/htf6DTBAXHU/v-deo.html
briliant - completely fooled me...m I spotted the false cut but I was still totally fooled on how you did it...got to use tyhis one for sure...that last cross cut was clever
@@AMillionCardTricks Oh okay Thanks for all ur hard work! I am a huge fan of urs and have been practising magic since late october last year. Thanks to channels like urs! Can't wait for ur next one!
No, red herring is a different trick. It has a similar method, but the way he presents it is purely as a magician fooling card location. My version is a trick that is more suited for average spectators with a four of a kind reveal.
Hanging out with a friend?? Not a scenario I suspect you to be in a lot
Really as soon as i lost all my friends terrible time lol
And even less wait until he pulls out a deck of cards and asks you to show him a trick 😂

as good as always, nice job nathan
Nice trick Nathan
Totally gonna practise this one!
At the start, Do u say I take out the four cards or do say that I take out three cards?
I like to say 4 cards, because then I have the “sudden realization” that I want the spectator to find the last one for me!
