Elytras are extremely boring, they're just so good they take the fun out of anything if you compare them to other things. 9 times out 10 elytras will beat anything in speed, convenience and manovrabilty, for a fraction of the effort it requires to make these machines. But these things are just so fun to make. You get to make something that's completely yours, experiment with it and see how it interacts with the world. That's the best feeling ever. And yeah they should be possible in survival no problem

@@KwizzleHazzizle Do you mind sharing which clockwork and valkyrien skies mod versions are you using? I'm currently using their latest nightly build, but the auric designator doesn't work as it should, it doesn't let me select another area if I already selected some, and the selection box stays for all worlds, even newly created ones. EDIT: NVM I just saw your clockwork installation video, I think the bugs might be due to some of my other optimisation mods, I'll take a look at them.
this video was made with the October 15th release of VS and Clockwork. Forge has a broken physics infuser for now. You can use a physics bearing to make physics objects though.
@@Flame_Dev Auric designator is known to be broken on Forge clockwork atm. use a physics bearing or a VS ship assembler to get a physics object for now
on the first car, the wheels on the left side are moving backwards and the ones on the right are normal. i even downloaded the schematics and tried those and it had the same problem. It looks the exact same as yours so i dont get why its doing this...

When ever I try building a plane or something with create mod stuff on it, When I assemble it with the clockwork block thing that adds physics it destroys or dis attaches certain blocks and if I have rotational force with it, it will make some of it turn off like the gearboxes wont have rotational force even if theirs a shaft connected with rotational force, I am doing the same thing as these videos but it wont work, is their a fix or is anyone else having the same problem, or a recommendation?

The car was probably jumping because of the acceleration when the wheels are locked. When unlcoked the acceleration is less and you get less jumping.

When using the newest clockwork version (Forge) the physics infuser doesn’t work. Updated tutorial?
That's a bug, use fabric or create a physics object using the physics bearing as a work around

Not sure, but you can add a gearbox to invert the direction of rotation and that should fix things

Definitely possible, just make sure to give it enough power. I'd start smallish and slowly make bigger wheels until I got the size I wanted

You have to glue blocks that aren’t directly connected to the machine

Fabric mostly. Better compatibility with shaders and replay mod is only on fabric now.
