The car was probably jumping because of the acceleration when the wheels are locked. When unlcoked the acceleration is less and you get less jumping.
Clockwork is actually insane, the cars you made are also pretty damn cool. Crazy that all this is still minecraft

My biggest gripe is that you can't transfer rotational force or energy between physics objects also no airpocket detection 🥲

I really want to see a vehicle that traverses with legs rather than wheels.
The shafts don't show up for me, and the bearing wheels have a different model replaced with them, is that something on my end?
I tried to make a spy car using the Valkrien Skies tiny ship creator (if you use it twice you can get tinier stuff) and DO NOT USE LOCKED MODE WITH PHYS BEARINGS CAUSE MINE FLIPPED SO MUCH

When ever I try building a plane or something with create mod stuff on it, When I assemble it with the clockwork block thing that adds physics it destroys or dis attaches certain blocks and if I have rotational force with it, it will make some of it turn off like the gearboxes wont have rotational force even if theirs a shaft connected with rotational force, I am doing the same thing as these videos but it wont work, is their a fix or is anyone else having the same problem, or a recommendation?
Nice guide but those wheels that you are using are too big for my car so can you please tell me how to make a small (about 1.5/2 blocks wide) wheel. Thanks in advance

The forge version is really buggy, I can't run it properly, because things just fly out of nowhere, or the game crashes for no reason...
so the cars with realistic steering are impossible in survival because only creative motor works for them right?
Pretty much unless you put another power source, or if they add a universal joint
@@KwizzleHazzizle yo i made one survival friendly with steam engine but because front wheels cant be connected its rwd and u need momentum to turn them so basically u can turn better the faster u go (its a little scuffed but it works) its slow asf tho
When using the newest clockwork version (Forge) the physics infuser doesn’t work. Updated tutorial?
That's a bug, use fabric or create a physics object using the physics bearing as a work around
@@KwizzleHazzizle Do you mind sharing which clockwork and valkyrien skies mod versions are you using?
I'm currently using their latest nightly build, but the auric designator doesn't work as it should, it doesn't let me select another area if I already selected some, and the selection box stays for all worlds, even newly created ones.
EDIT: NVM I just saw your clockwork installation video, I think the bugs might be due to some of my other optimisation mods, I'll take a look at them.

Forge has a broken physics infuser for now. You can use a physics bearing to make physics objects though.
@@Flame_Dev Auric designator is known to be broken on Forge clockwork atm. use a physics bearing or a VS ship assembler to get a physics object for now

How would one make a relaly big wheeled vehicle, is it doable?
Definitely possible, just make sure to give it enough power. I'd start smallish and slowly make bigger wheels until I got the size I wanted
Do you play on forge, or Fabric?
Fabric mostly. Better compatibility with shaders and replay mod is only on fabric now.
