Hi Ron, beautifull light and the picture is stable! Congratulations to this video. May I ask what tripod, tripod-head and which magnifiction you used? No wiggling at all - phantastic! - Zero Wind?
Thank you yes wind can be a problem but this day nearly no wind. I use a Really right stuff(RRS) heavy duty carbon tripod and a manfrotto videohead. I use 30x-70x times magnification on my Swarovski atx 115 mm scope
Lovely video Ron, How hard is it to get the A6300 setup on the spotting scope and focused ? I am a Fuji user so I expect a new camera might be in order if I go with the Swarovski spotter as it seems like a popular choice. I was looking at starting out with the 85mm objective lens and possibly the BTX eye piece with the 1.7x extender but I am still reading up on it :)
Finally Ron!!! I was wondering when you have published a new video and here it go!! As always is fantastic, but I have a doubt. When where is the great heron (is it a heron??), I saw a green line in the edge of the bird and I can't understand if it can be a chromatic aberration, even though I think it's hard with a Swaroski spottingscope
Hi, yesterday i did a small outing because it was a nice day after weeks of bad weather. Yes, sometimes there can be a good deal of chromatic aberration. It is not the scope but the camera lens i think which is a Samyang 35mm f2.8. I do not know how to get rid off it in a simple app called Imovie. I did the inpost work just on my Iphone. The falcon in the tree the branches have also chromatic aberration
@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 So I was right, it's pretty hard having chromatic aberration for a Swaroski product!! Yes, maybe it's the camera lens, and in post-production I don't know how to solve it, even because I use Davinci Resolve 😁 Anyway, thanks for your last video.😉
Very nice work. It's clearly much warmer where you are. Every time I go outside it's gray, rainy and miserable. Nothing but crows and Canadian geese. :) Some of the tight headshots at the beginning were spectacular. Are you using the 1.7x multiplier or are you just getting in closer on those shots? Keep up the great work!
Hi thank you😀 i live in Holland and the weather was terrible for weeks. Yesterday it was sunny so i thought i give it a try. The headshots are a result of a combination of getting nearer and use a higher magnification on the birdingscope which goes from 30 all the way up till 70x…where do you live?
@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 Seattle, WA. USA. I have the same scope (just recently acquired), but I haven't had much chance to get out yet. I also picked up the 1.7x, which is why I was asking if you were using that or not. Even at 70x you appear to have been quite close on those headshots.
@@TheBierp ok, the 1.7x I do not have. Would be nice to see if you can digiscoping give it a try and I am looking forward to see what you can get out of the scope. It is also winter here but I think not as severe as in Seattle 😀
Mooi gedaan Ron !
Dankjewel Bart 😀

Ron, happy new year.

Happy new year to you too😀 …when digiscoping i am between 30x and 70x on my scope dependi distance
