@@Paktcg I liked the thought of how easy it would be to set up levels for them because 1,2,3,4 and combos are available for set up much like the xyz plays available to the deck.
@@dophop Yeah, the XYZ plays are cool but I want to stick to the consistent strategy kinda like salamangreats for Pranks - since playing those xyz combos loses too hard to nib

@@Paktcg if you open poly+2 kids, you can go for toad/gossip shadow on the 4th summon as long as you didn't open dropsies/fansies. Going for a rank 4? Yeah, it dies to nibiru hard lol.

What do you think about Parallel Exceed in the deck? It helps chain block and gives you free bodies. Going first it’s just a free rank 4 like Abyss Dweller and going second it can help link climb or overlay for Lightning Chidori.
i have exceed in my prank kids deck specifically for dweller. i dont care if no one else plays it

Yo i bought the entire prank kids core at $50 2 months ago as investment and possible deck to play so pretty happy :D, i do have dogma invoked tho so just looking at the money spent i will probably use dogma lol but sure will play pranks too

Prank Kids aka one card is all I need to make battle butler and then summon 2 of him next turn.

The only problem is if you don't have a real follow up and they shotgun Ash on the summon of Meow-Meow. It happens at least 30% of my games and I'm always forced to pass on a single Meow Meow on the field

Definitely wanna know about what cards you choose to side out when going second in any match, and what did you change in extra deck to put in verte?
What was the reason for running two of the trap? Just for the grave shuffle? The deck would only need a "shuffle your whole grave back" once to win in a grind. The honest damage effect isn't worth the second copy. Even in a grind the trap shuffling all your grave prank cards away seems counter intuitive when you can get free draws from pranks.
If you want to use it to feather duster AND for recycling you need 2
You need 2, one effect is on field other is in the grave - I'm not using it for the honest effect either, its a faster way to recur resources than PRANKS, which is a lot slower.
You burn through PRANKS really fast because you go through the 1st set - turn 1 - then you trigger them again on your opp turn for Butler which burns you 2 sets already.

The decklist used for this video is the one you posted before? I had some trouble with the rates of thunder dragon fusion, pranks and handtraps
just a question on the final combo. What's the best play if they Nibiru on resolution of bird and special summon of dropsie ; but before you activate bird to recycle your GY cards?
It seems normal summon -> link summon 1 + special summon fansies -> link summon bird 1 + special summon dropsie = 5th summon

Hey Pak, Was wondering if you knew on endphase prank-kids prank effect to shuffle back three. Does it have to be 3? I just ask because it says "can" shuffle but then says specifically shuffle 3 back so kinda weird wording but sometimes with thunder dragon fusion my graveyard will only have 1 or 2 prank-kid cards and was wondering if i could still shuffle back just them to get the draw and recycle.

I'm confused, I had the first scenario happen to me were the dodo got imper, but I got another one out and it wouldn't let me use his effect. It was on master duel btw
When did you get Impermed on Dodo? On summon when using the trigger effect to search, or after that when activating his on field effect to add 2 cards from grave to hand? The effect to tribute to add cards from the GY can only be used once per turn. So if you get Impermed on the 1st effect you can still use the 2nd effect. If you get Impermed on the 2nd effect activating it already counts as using the effect, and you can indeed not activate it again that turn. Hope that helped :)

At the very end of the Main Phase. Pranks don't have negates so just let them full combo and drop Nib, gg's.

@@Paktcg if you could make the space for it couldn’t you play exceed to go into reflassia and have gravediggers trap hole to protect from nib? This also gives you the opportunity to play dweller in the extra as well. Idk how tight the extra is.

What I think you should work on is showing you playing the deck, rather than showing a replay of it. Also show a matchup again a 3+ negate/interruption board, and Buster Lock
I feel like Pak is playing the deck sub optimal...the 2 plan isn't needed and even right now I only put plan in the side because of Prank's rescource regeneration. Playing ThunDra Fusion over Polymerization is also suboptimal because you're going for your disruption to be either a hand trap or Battle Butler when you can safeguard Nib with Toad and lock the GY with Dweller if you have Polymerization (virtually 6 copies in the deck btw).
6 copies in the deck? I guess if you want to play the fusion recycling plant sure. Pande locks you into pranks, and if you're tryna play combo and set up multiples negates with toad + whatever then this isn't the deck for you. Im playing the deck more midrange - up to personal preference. Trying new things and testing is what leads to innovation, of course you can play triple polymerization that's obvious, but being stuck in one school of thought is what limits players. Also less is more, there are so many decks that can't beat 2 raigekis. Trap decks getting blown out by roaring roaster. Also that toad combo you mentioned is a 3 card combo, Where you SPECIFICALLY cannot draw the water prank. You can run the math yourself of how consistent that combo is using yugioh party.
@@Paktcg I mean yeah the deck really is a mid-range deck disguised as a combo deck, which I where I think a lot of people deviate from optimizing the builds. Looking at the raw numbers, you have around 25.69% chance of opening 2 Kids + Poly (no dropsies) with 13 starters (16 total - 3 dropsies). My problem with the theoretical "1 card = full combo" is that the beginning is very susceptible to interruption (although using cards like Pranks to snuff out an Ogre/chain block with Dodo so first kid can float are options). Looking at the ThunDra Fusion, I do wonder how this affects your EP Pranks sometimes and the fact that Butler is then susceptible to DRNM, Imperm, and Droplets (ofc opp turn Pandemonium is an option, but you'd need to run 2 Butler or have a way to Bow-wow to trib Butler for cost and shuffle it back). My general theory on Prank-Kids (at least for opening combos) is there exists different tiers of end boards with each having a very similar "heart" (set pand, pranks, prank-kids in hand). Cards like Toad and Dweller bolster your field presence to slow your opponent down. As a final note, I'd consider either cutting ThunDra fusion or limiting it because it doesn't offer much if you play smart (you have pandemonium for surprise Butler, recursion in the form of Pranks, and 99% of the time you'll have a Prank-Kid in hand/on-field for next turn, so the banish effect is negligible).
I'll take your advise and be open to other "schools" of thought as this deck progresses.
@@valdmetsl I run 2 butler. Yeah 25% is super low in my opinion, and with 3 cards most of the time you can do so much more. But I do see the value of that play. I don't use Thundra fusion as an additional interruption - in fact I always bait out EP so my opponent would Nib me, and if they do I can then activate Thundra to recover from that position as well as a guaranteed follow up. If they don't nib me, I have a butler to start off my turn to push for game with Butler+access. I can understand cutting the card to either 1 or 2, since you have Anaconda verte I just like going by the thought that for non searchable cards - to max it out especially if its really strong at recovery. The deck is going to continue progressing I'm excited, and I appreciate the comment.

I don't think it's a tier 1 deck, certain hands die to 1 ash on the first GY effect. Can't be Tier 1 if you pass turn to ash (imo)
If you have pranks you play through ash or fusion spell, which are both 3 and 3 in the deck shouldn't be too hard - I recently switch to tactics in the main too to punish ash
