Hi. I've greatly enjoyed your videos of canoeing in the far north! Q: Do you typically go on Black Feather trips or are you doing some rivers on your own and they are just outfitting you? Thanks, Russ

I've done a few of the easier Northern Rivers with a friend or with my wife (such as the Yukon and the Big Salmon) but most of my Northern canoe trips have been guided trips with Black Feather. I don't have a group of canoeing friends to go with, I don't feel that I am a good enough canoeist to go unguided on the more difficult rivers, and I am now almost 80 and losing my energy so having guides along really helps. I keep going with Black Feather because I like their guides and the company has always treated me quite well.

That’s some big water! You all seemed to do well.
I did the Keele in 2017. We put in where you took out and clearly missed some nice ww.
Did you do this river 2 years in a row? I saw your other Natla video.

I did the Natla 5 years ago with a much smaller group and much lower water. Both trips were with Black Feather and both were wonderful
