Poland decided to order new destroyers to a foreign country and decided to ask France again. It’s a bit odd as for the Grom-class, they ordered them to the British as they favored the contemporary British designs at the time. The Gdańsk would then be based on the Mogador-class of French Destroyers, keeping the same overall design but with the main battery consisting of three twin turrets with 138.6 mm guns, and instead of a fourth twin turret in Y position like on the Mogador, there is a single 138.6 mm shielded mount for a total of 7 guns. Gdańsk is also much larger than Mogador, being almost 20 m longer and displacing nearly 2 000 tons more. The Polish Navy aimed to achieve naval superiority through quality rather than quantity, and they designed large destroyers capable of countering light cruisers to this end. In the late 1930s, several projects for such ships were being considered in Gdynia. The Mogador-class destroyers were suitable for the purpose as they were comparable to light cruisers in certain parameters and outmatched them in others (for example, in speed). Had ships of this class been built in France, the destroyers that survived the war would have been reequipped in the 1950s and 1960s with Soviet air defense systems, radars, and torpedoes.

Same here got it this morning have set for torp reload and range...5.3 concealment 14.4 range and 70.1 sec reload with 4 sec reload main guns firing out to 11 km
@@Potatoairlines slow but long range area denial plus 4 sec reload on the guns equals a very nasty ship had a fun match yesterday where instead of riding the line I guesstimate ended up with 4 kills and barely missed a Kraken because those slow torps were shot in a manner to cut off dodging and do 26.4k apiece
If these terrible players cared as much about winning as they do about trying to steal kills from their teammates just imagine how much more fun the game would be

Looks like a good ship , it feels like it has all you need. It would be better with some more powerfull torps and better guns reload. Gg also 👍🏻

How is concealment 99? The ship is very tall, super easy to hit that front end.
It has good concealment, and Spartan is running double concealment with no mortar. So it’s always gonna be pretty good conceal with that setup

The pc stock reload is like 3.7 seconds but on Legends its more.
