What makes Gamera 67 so devastating this season is that not only is his ability powerful, but he also has very high damage for a 5 cost and pierce. So many decks just consist of Gamera, Megalon, Heli base, Mogera 94, and chibis. Its annoying to fight but ive been using full piercing teams to counter, Super MG, Desghidorah, Ultraman, and even Gamera 67 as pure counter play
Best units for Showa Gamera builds btw: Guiron Megalon Mothra (1992) Godzilla Minus One (to deal massive dmg while Showa Gamera and cycle units fight against a tank or when overtime comes) Shinden (distracts enemies) That all for my thoughts

You're the third person I've seen who hasn't had anything nice to say about Gyaos. It's kind of a shame, I'm looking for more flier type units to experiment with Fire Rodan. I'm actually having fun using him and got to rank 49. I also got lucky and pulled about 5 copies of Gamera 67. Used the G material from the point exchange, and now I have a usable Gamera 67.
Dont work too hard friend. Also, I like to pair Fire Rodan with Mothra 92, shes cheap, fast and high damage. Only issue is her range but with the speed boost she'll clear the gap in no time. I usually deploy them up the sides of the field when I have some other units on the opposite side for a pincer maneuver 🦀
Agreed. I feel like Toho didn't really know what to do with Gyaos, so they just mixed Waka Bio, Mothra 19 and Aqua into a cake but it just didn't bake right
They look sick as hell. Rodan 19 seems like a even crazier Fire Rodan, but I'm a little worried that Thermo might suck if he has to do the fall and heal on every deployment. He might be unusable on the new water map cause -1 can just nuke him while he's down. But we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully I'm wrong and Thermo is awesome

Yeah MZ is really tough to use at 8 cost. But I like to use him alongside aoe units like GMK Godzilla or Super Mechagodzilla since MZ is single target, or low cost units like Shiinden, Mothra 92 and Megalon since he's so expensive. Also, if you happen to have the Final Wars battle memory that boosts energy gain if your deck's average cost is 5.5 or more, that'll help make MZ more flexible to use.
IMO my buff for Gyaos has always been increasing his guts' (not the basic attack mind you) reach to 90 and making it trigger every attack. If LFS is going to be his only meaningful gimmick, then might as well make him actually good dishing it out. That or lean into the "every 10 seconds" thing and keep the range buff but make it do some ridiculous damage for a 5 cost flyer like 1000+, makes him more of an actual palpable threat. Doesn't solve the stats issue even then.
I agree it should activate on attacks like Moguera's def buff does to make it more reliable. Cause It being on a timer makes it so unnecessarily complicated to use. If it activated when attacking Gyaos could instantly apply it as soon as he engages a flier without having to awkwardly time it every 10 seconds.
@@weenee4714 Activating on attacks is how it already works (it's not like Waka Bio's vines), what I was suggesting is that he does it every attack with a bigger AOE so it can actually hit enemies. It's one issue it does no damage, the fact he'll hit one air unit at most hurts it even more.
Its a shame that gyaos is not good. I hope they improve it. And i hope the next collab with Gamera will be with all units good, like this Gamera. About that, who do you think will be the next gamera and villains? Will be someone from the Rebirth? Classics? The movies of 1995-2006?
Hey Weenee I have a challenge for you. Max out every single monster and the weapons to use them in a team to see how strong they are. Do you accept? Edit: You don’t have to do it considering it would take a while to do. There is probably around 50-60 monsters I don’t know tell me if I’m wrong. But fun idea for a challenge right?
@@Goji04gamer Currently 106. And maxing all the monsters isnt a time issue, its a money issue. Not even the biggest spenders in the game have a 100% maxed account. That takes hundreds of thousands of dollars. Which is why I said no. I'd love to have a maxed account, but its just not possible. Especially when they add new stuff every month.
Don't typically comment twice on videos but I've been looking at 67 Gyaos a lot recently for reasons, and one thing I've noticed is that if you double tap Gyaos in studio mode he has a secondary attack animation. What confuses me is that Gyaos only has one animation (which is wasted potential, but then again everything about Gyaos is) even for his guts attack. Literally why?? Did they reduce his kit for launch?? Was he meant to be a leader?? It's just wacky how he has this flapping animation in studio. Maybe its something that plays in matches but I haven't used Gyaos in them at all.
I noticed that too. It may have been for a scrapped feature or is just bugged and not actually playing when he does the guts attack. But whatever the case, additional animations is cool for taking pictures and I wish Toho included more like the walking/death/leader ability animations. It would certainly help me in making my thumbnails and cutscenes. Gam 67 also has an animation if you tap him twice, but its more of a T-pose than anything, he just freezes for a second then goes back to his idle.
@weenee4714 Yeah if you rapid tap Gamera he hits an insane jig, that shi is hilarious. As for Gyaos, it's probably a case of them trying to make him land for night stages, but if took too much dev time so he just got a damage buff. That's my guess anyways. (Godzilla Tower, Gotengo and Burning 2019 are all model reuses, whilst Gyaos was a wholly new model and probably took too much time to complete comparatively)
The season was a real case of the good, the bad and the ugly. Good: Gigan Bad: Gyaos Ugly: Gamera (looking at him face to face makes him look disgusting)
I don't think even that would be enough. His night mode needs a bigger attack buff, maybe like 40-50% Also, the low flying state should last longer and have more reach. Then I think he'd be solid.
Yeah its just ashame that gyaos isnt even goodbat all. There were alot of things they could have done for gyaos but they decided to release it without thinking. Honestly they could just lower his cost to a 3 or just beef up his stats alot more so he is actually playable

I want to say this with the literal soul, and this isn’t attacking you, but Chibi Mecha Godzilla and Showa Gamera have somehow ruined the entire meta, like, normally I use a meta at least…2-3 times at least a day to boost my score, but no, I’ve been using the meta consistently. It’s Heisei Ghidorah, Megalon, Showa Gamera, Healing chorus, Generator, 2 lvl30 Macer stun canons,minus 1 Gojira, a station for multiple macers, and a helicopter station…I had to rely on meta because of Gamera and Chibi Mechagodzilla….like…🤬. Sorry for ranting, anyway awesome video
Well you're in luck, the Chibis are getting a nerf next season, and Ariake too, so they'll be a little more manageable. Btw I gotta say that team of yours, specifically the maser tanks, isn't very meta and probably the reason you struggle. Choppers can be decent with Gamera 67, but the masers just get mopped up by aoe. Try Shinden and Dimension Tide in those two slots so you can redirect attacks and group up enemies to be hit by your aoe units. Those are some of the best tools in the game and they don't need a ton of levels to preform well either.

I recommend you join Sir Melee's Discord. There's a deck building chat where we help people make teams. Because me simply telling you what teams are good isn't going to help much without knowing what levels your units are, what battle memories you have etc. Anyway the best teams usually run: Gamera 67 + Air Base, Godzilla Rio, Skar King, Desghidorah M.O.G.U.E.R.A, Megalon, Rainbow Mothra, Train Bomb, Dimension Tide. Or some combination of these units along with others A good team can only get you so far though. You as a player also need to use it well. Skill does have a big role in this game
