Hi twinelle, I'm not sure how cold it will be when you go to iceland. I live in Minnesota it's cold right now 12-30 degrees. Anyway snow pants are meant to be layered over other clothing. We wear them for skiing and snowmobiling, over jeans etc. So, the pastel ones may be just perfect, if you are freezing. Especially since you live in Cali. The black ones will work without something under them if you are warm enough. The prices for the north face ones were really good. Hope this helps.
I live in north Norway and totally agree with you, the blue snow pants are her perfect size for layering, I would personally NEVER buy snow pants that are not oversize.
If you’re planning on snow sports (like skinning or snow boarding) I recommend snow pant overalls, prevents snow going down your back ahah Also, thermal leggings & tops for under your snow gear is essential ❄️
I agree! Snow bibs, a big waterproof coat, good boats with the pants pulled over and as many layers as you can fit underneath. Cover the nose and ears too! Put gloves on first then the jacket so they're underneath!
Snow pants typically are worn with other pants underneath so I could see how they might be too big for you. Also take advantage of the belt loops! They are really cute on you regardless!
Iceland is probably the coldest country in Europe, I live in the south-eastern Europe and it still gets so cold in the winter so I literally can't wear any skirts in January and February, especially if you don't have thermal leggings or tights you'll definitely freeze. You need to layer lots of stuff under your actual clothes if you're planning to spend a lot of time outside. Hope this helps ❤️
Ahhhhh!!! Okay! I was at uniqlo the other day and saw they had heat tech shirts and pants so guess I’ll go buy some😅yeahhhh the pink jacket is pretty thin actually you think I’ll need a thicker puffer?? I have a feeling ima be spending more money on buying an appropriate iceland wardrobe than when I’m actually there!😂
@@twinelle I would just spend the money on a couple quality warm items (coat/pants) so you don't have a bunch of thinner cheaper clothes you actually cannot even wear. IMO! xo
I live in Alaska, recently it has been -25F at night and anywhere from 32F in the daytime to as cold as -10F. Of course the wind makes it feel colder depending on the day. Like someone else already mentioned, snow pants are meant to be worn over clothing. I usually only wear them if I’m going to be outside for long periods of time like shoveling snow or doing some sort of outdoor activity. I prefer snow bibs personally. For cold weather you need a good set of thermals/base layer to wear. I really like the brand Woolx. Great merino wool and so soft. Really keeps you warm. Kinda pricey but worth it. As for the outfit with the tights you will be freezing, I recommend a longer coat if you want to wear the tights. As for the snow pants you would want to layer them over thermals or sometimes if its really cold I wear thermals and sweats then put the snow bibs on top. All I gotta say is layer layer layer. Also the price for the snow pants is actually pretty good because they usually retail over $100. Snow bibs cost even more.
Lol GIRL lemme tell you. Living in Colorado I have spent hundreds on adorable snow shoes and its WORTH IT. They can be cute, but they gotta be functional too. You don't wanna be slipping around or with frozen toes!!
I travelled through Iceland in winter and it's SO COLD, sometimes like 5 °F! With the humidity and wind chill it feels even colder than the temperature sounds. I was wearing 2 thermals, a thick wool jumper, a down jacket, thermal tights, snow pants, 2 pairs of thick socks and snow boots. AND I NEEDED IT. SO COLD!!!! No time to look cute outdoors I believe :D Other tourists in thinner clothes were like dying :D
If you’re planning to wear tights in the snow definitely get fleece-lined tights. Your legs will go numb otherwise. Bring layers! Cardigans, sweaters, undershirts/breathable long sleeves, and a lightweight and heavy jacket. You may also want an umbrella, I use umbrellas in the snow just like I do in the rain
I would DEFINETELY bring enough warm clothes to Iceland, it will get COLD. Layrering, wool, down jackets (if you can), snowpants, padded pants and padded jackets, warm boots. And boots that have nice grip on them cause if it is icy you will struggle, lol!
Snow pants essentially are an additional layer to protect you over top other layers; Like leggings, jeans or sweats. The snow pants help break the wind because the snow itself isn’t bad… but wind chill is so intense that it blows right through fabric. Like tbh, if you just wear tights or leggings without other layers or protection, you could end up getting frost bite. So keep in mind that layering is best so if they are bigger that’s going to make it easier to do so! And usually snow pants aren’t too flattering 😅 but they protect your skin, so more of a practical wear than a fashion wear lol. I live in Canada and the winter this year has been intense and I have looked heckin’ crazy with all my layers but it’s not worth the skin damage girl -
Loved the video as always!! It’s currently pretty cold in the UK around 4 degrees Celsius daily and im wearing like 5 layers (including thermals) to stay cosy all day. February time is one of the coldest periods in Iceland (averaging around 32 degrees Fahrenheit i think) with the wind chill making it feel colder so the outfit you have will Look perfect indoors when having meals But I would definitely recommend having layers of snow gear on top especially since you’re used to the warm Californian weather!! Lots of love💗
Ya i feel like she can make it more gothic cemetery vibes too I wasn’t getting boho that much just add black accents bulky jewelry in there looks perf with the white dress underneath
When it’s 3 AM here in the Philippines and it is also raining cats and dogs and I am working graveyard shift and finally check my YT and you uploaded a new video. Time to take a pause with my work and watch you. Babe you got me smiling all the time. Been here since day one and you are my favorite content creator here 🫶
Hey! Living in Canada, I know cold! I don't know when you're going to Iceland, but if it's in winter, you'll want some fleece thighs under your regular thighs! Or even pants over your thighs! And for the blue snow pants, you'll want to wear some layers under them, so I think they will fit just fine! and make sure you have thermal socks too!
Omg girl no! I've never been to Iceland but it's way colder than where I'm from (Charlotte, NC) and I wouldn't even wear those clothes you bought for the North Carolina winter 😭 please make sure you have some good under layers. I travel to New England a lot for work and they're always in North Face up there (and they gave me one, it's nice and thin so you can wear another coat over it if you're not used to the cold!!)
I live in Vermont and the outfit with the tights will DEFINITELY be too cold. Usually I wear tights or leggings under pants or if I’m wearing a skirt I wear two pairs of tights with a long coat. You can also wear tights + long wool socks and a long coat if you’re wearing a short skirt. I recommend wearing thermal tights or leggings under everything! Also go with coats that cover your bum! Usually I wear 3-4 layers up top if it’s really cold, like a thermal undershirt or long sleeve under a sweater + coat. Earmuffs or a headband are an absolute must! Also a chunky scarf that will cover your neck- skinny scarves are usually too thin to be warm enough. Also you NEED to wear multiple pairs of socks!! Wool socks are really great.
The camo top is amazing I’m in love w the back. Also Betsey for $5 is so GOOOOD, gorgeous piece 😭😍 The black dress 🥲🥲🥲 so glad u said something about it 😂😭 prices are so cheap around you!!!
The cover up in 11:11 is so cuuute, I love how you styled it. I have some similar ones and they just stay in my closet until I go to the beach, next time I go to my parents house I’ll use them like that with my long skirts, ❤ it’s giving fairycore
Hey David!!! Hope ya been well! Y’all affected by the rain storms at all? We had a low of 50 and high of 71 today and are gonna be getting even more rain this weekend😞
14:33 i LOVE that sm! It reminds me of my culture's traditional dress 💓 i'm drawing fashion designs while watching and i'm glad i am cuz this is giving me inspo 👀
I live in a small town in the UK and I'm so sad to hear that Yard Sale closed!! :( I would have never visited but I'm still so sad that it's closed :( Great haul as always!! 🥰
I feel like you just need to style the Betsy Johnson poncho differently. Maybe wear it as a one shoulder top, or as a skirt layered over something. I feel like it would be easy to manipulate the draping by using small pieces of string to gather bits that you want to. I can’t remember the designer but there was a show where they styled crochet fabric over top of cargo pants and skirts
Those snow shoes at the beginning where so cute. Sucks that they didn't fit. The pattern you picked up is 100% kids sizing, you should probably make a mock up when you go to use it. I love the second piece. It's giving Stevie Nicks, but I don't know if it fits your style. I'm glad you found some stuff for your Iceland trip, you might be the best dressed tourist there
hello twinelle im canadien and im use to -10 to -40 degrees and the reason why snow pants are so roomy is because you don't wear like snow-ants as pants you wear pants under neat so idk if you were wearing pants under it but you're suppose to also this is no hate its just I wanted to tell you

The vents in running gear is great for transporting the sweat-steams 🤗🤣🤣 Maybe you can knit some socks for you both? I would consider thick/warm socks absolutely essential! The pink jacket is so cute, but if it gets wet it won't keep you warm for long! But it looks good for layering (maybe even a sweater on top of the jacket) Those pants are a steal, and keep in mind that it's the still air that keeps you insulated; thermo/thick leggins or tights, then pants, then skii-pants for really cold days. I'll also recommend that you bring a bag that you can put your outerwear in when you're shopping/eating/staying indoors for a time; that way you won't freeze when you're going outside again (with the outerwear on, ofc) At least take off hats and scarves and unzip jackets if it seems too straining to take it all off! Girl I think you’re gonna freeze in Iceland 😬 especially since you’re used to LA weather, layering will be your friend. I’d say leggings under your pants with snow pants on top, and thick sweater under your coat

Laini Ozark (www.youtube.com/@LainiOzark) lives in a super cold climate (like I do), and she always talks about some fleece-lined tights you can order on Amazon. You might want to check those out! Love your videos.
That maxi is cute, maybe it will be there next time 😂 I think it might be $20 just from the amount of fabric and tailored pleats, love it. Makes me want to dye it to see how it comes out ❤
Are you going soon too Island or in the spring? I live in Sweden and its way too warm here right now it's 1°C and it haven't been below zero in a long time, and sorry for writing in Celsius but I do not get Fahrenheit 😆 But I bet 1°C is super cold for you.
LOLOL I’m getting this comment ALOT! I’ve seen tiktok ads for those legging tights that are really thick and ppl wear them in the winter in NYC so I might just buy some of those cause I wanna look cuuute!😭💗✨
@@twinelle Yup, I was thinking those would be perfect for you, but it depends when you're going, I just looked it up and Iceland is apparently *incredibly cold* in February with -1°C to 2°C so 33,8 - 35,6°F. With the thermo tights you might be able to be ok with cute pink tights over ☺Depending on the wind. I live in my 80s/90s skisuits all fall and winter with woollen tights and long sleeved shirts under and I'm fine unless it's 0°C and windy 🥶 ALWAYS keep your ankles and feet warm and dry! Consider buying snow spikes for your boots instead of investing in a pair of snow-boots! Everything woollen for sure you must grab! Earmuffs are great since your head exceeds the most warmth, and you might get overheated with a hat on 🤗

yes try the pants on with your under thermals ... the extra room might be for the layering :)
Sweetie, you're gonna freeeeeeze! But don't worry, I have no doubt the locals will take pity on you and give you some serious cold-weather clothes 🥶
Yeah… I’m not sure a skirt and tights is gonna fly in Iceland.
Snow pants typically are worn with other pants underneath so I could see how they might be too big for you. Also take advantage of the belt loops! They are really cute on you regardless!

the black dress is literally drop dead gorgeous:!!! i would have gone into a full brawl with that woman to keep it lmaooo
ikr!! it’s one of the most beautiful dresses i’ve ever seen
I hope it’s spring over there bc true winter is way too cold to be cute girl. I’m in Chicago and these outfits would noootttt work
the betsey johnson poncho is super cute and i love how you styled it!
hey girl - i think the outfit for iceland with the tights is rly pretty, but you're gonna be way too cold!
You cannot go in just tights! you need another layer over them...and you may need a warmer jacket the pink one looks very thin.

As a Canadian, it’s so weird seeing someone call 4 degrees celcius cold, since I consider anything above 0 to be good weather lol.
The Betsy Johnson piece is BEAUTIFUL!!! it’ll be so cool as a swim cover up too.

I LOVE the Betsy Johnson poncho and I’m living for the poncho revival that’s happening I’m a poncho girl for sure🤍

I think a white strapless fitted maxi dress would look good with
the poncho!
oh my god that black dress is absolutely gorgeous i gasped
the camo top is so pretty to use for the summer.
You should try CRAZY BOSS located in Fontana or San Bernardino (two locations) they have incredible snow boots. They resell dead stock items and etc.
Those snow shoes at the beginning where so cute. Sucks that they didn't fit. The pattern you picked up is 100% kids sizing, you should probably make a mock up when you go to use it. I love the second piece. It's giving Stevie Nicks, but I don't know if it fits your style. I'm glad you found some stuff for your Iceland trip, you might be the best dressed tourist there
hey girl!! just an idea-what if you dyed that betsy johnson shawl black? maybe it would fit in better with your style
Love the combo Betsy Johnson crochet poncho and dress at 10:38! It’s boho but it works. What brand is the dress you paired it with?
So glad you continued to the try on part this way. More interesting to me and I hope the editing is easier for you
The Betsey Johnson poncho is SO CUTE
hello twinelle im canadien and im use to -10 to -40 degrees and the reason why snow pants are so roomy is because you don't wear like snow-ants as pants you wear pants under neat so idk if you were wearing pants under it but you're suppose to also this is no hate its just I wanted to tell you
So cool seeing the store from different angles compared to Karina's filming style :D
You're both gonna need thermo underwear stat! Even running-gear can be used under your skii-pants and coats ; theres little need to buy new thermo underwear, is just needs to be a thin layer that can keep the air warm and still and also transport/absorb sweat. The vents in running gear is great for transporting the sweat-steams 🤗🤣🤣
Maybe you can knit some socks for you both? I would consider thick/warm socks absolutely essential!
The pink jacket is so cute, but if it gets wet it won't keep you warm for long! But it looks good for layering (maybe even a sweater on top of the jacket)
Those pants are a steal, and keep in mind that it's the still air that keeps you insulated; thermo/thick leggins or tights, then pants, then skii-pants for really cold days.
It's a skill to survive in colder climates, and I personally think a lot of it comes down to how willing the individual is to be freezing 🤗☺😅
Me = life's way too short to be freezing when outside! Upsides: I can wear the cutest outfit under my ski suit (which also happens to be super cute) 🤗🤗🤩
Girl you could make a garbage bag look cute!!!
Camo is a staple out here in the south. Hella nostalgic but also practical depending on the area
I love the poncho and the way you have it styled! Beautiful!
I love the poncho 🥰 that black dress😻
You will forsure need to layer your snowpants but the price is good for northface love the chaps you can pull it off girlie xxx 👍🥰❤😍 much loves stay safe
Oh that black dress super gorgeous so glad you got it bad that's happened to me before I just can't believe someone clearly sees you shopping does a quick one on your cart yep keep your eyes on your stuff!! 😊
i live in austria and it gets pretty cold here in winter but in iceland its even colder and i don't think you will be able to just wear a skirt and normal thights you'll freeze to death haha
You should dye the Pancho black and it would give gothic glamour which is really in rn
Omg I have that betsey Johnson night gown dress ur wearing in the square space ad. I want to see how u styled it ! I honestly immediately thought u would rock this when I first seen it totally reminded me of uuu
aw i wouldve SCREAMED if i found those cute snow boots at the start of your thrift! I fit in size 5, so it wouldve been perfect, too bad where i ive barely has good thrift finds
😍 That poncho is stunning! 😍😍😍😍😍 I love the dresses too.
everything is 10x better with a betsey johnson tag
Girl you're going to be freezing in Iceland! More thermal layers and bigger coats! It's around 0°F this time of year in the capital!
Loving the Title i Know I will love the video
😄😄😄❄️✨
Girl I think you’re gonna freeze in Iceland 😬 especially since you’re used to LA weather, layering will be your friend. I’d say leggings under your pants with snow pants on top, and thick sweater under your coat
THE CHAAAAAAAPS YES GAWD
Love that you film in 4k girlie! Looks gr8
If snow girl is not an ~anesthetic~ it needs to be!
Well I love the BJ, but I realy love boho.

have you shopped at the buffalo exchange in the bay??
I don’t shop at Buffalo exchange or curated thrift stores very often but the times I have been it’s awesome! It’s just a lil too far from me☹️
Omg I was just at the thrift and had the same idea of buying a vintage pattern and making in for a TikTok lol great minds think a like

“My daily dose of birth control” 💀💀💀💀💀
Que Senora 😂😂… at least she returned the dress
Ugh 😑 hate that it happened where I work at a que senora
are the snow pants big cause they're maybe actually supposed to be maternity wear?
Not too sure I was thinking they were mens size M because I usually fit into womens S-M and those fit a lil too big around the waist
"Huge size 8 foot" me: age 13: size 10/10.5
1:18 "my huge ass size 8 foot" BISSHHH try being a 10.5 😭 I hate it hereeee
Helloooooooooo❤
Hi hiiiiiiiii💗
We have the same haircut lol
You're gonna be really really cold with just tights alone. I don't recommend it.
I live in my 80s/90s skisuits all fall and winter with woollen tights and long sleeved shirts under and I'm fine unless it's 0°C and windy 🥶
ALWAYS keep your ankles and feet warm and dry!
Consider buying snow spikes for your boots instead of investing in a pair of snow-boots!
Everything woollen for sure you must grab! Earmuffs are great since your head exceeds the most warmth, and you might get overheated with a hat on 🤗
@@twinelle but maybe it's a good challenge for you to find another way to still look cute all bundled up hehe 🤗
😍😍😍
You're going to freeze your @ss off trying to look cute in those outfits 😂
LOLOLOLOL!!! I’m thinking I’m underestimating how cold it’s gonna be! But I’m from Cali so I really don’t know how to dress for snow!!🤣🤣🤣
Size 8 feet?? How tall are you?
Can we talk about the fact she decided to reject a Burleska tutu skirt? sad...:(
What’s a burleska skirt? Is it ballet/dance gear?
It’s a famous goth brand with great quality clothing^^
It’s also pretty expansive tho
WTFFFFF!!! I literally had NO idea! I was 🤏🏼close to getting it but didn’t see myself wearing it too often😭😭😭
Ahahah i get it not the best for iceland queen
I am a cash girl.
