War Thunder Seek And Destroy Su-27SM & MiG-29SMT - Ігри
sim battles pretty much busted right now. 12.0-13.0, that unlucky F-20 player.
If you only play bluefor yeah now good luck redfor 4 to 1
Yeah it's unfortunate for planes without fox-3's
Why don’t people use the R-27ER anymore? It still absolutely trolls tunnel visioned Fox3 launchers in BVR. It is far faster and longer range than any of the new Fox3s, and is more likely to hit its target for that matter as well
Because it being a SARH missile, requires you to keep flying towards your target maintaining lock until impact. Usually by the time it connects, the opponents fox 3 is already pitbull
Learn what the MAR is and how us Fox-3 abusers will clap you if you bring a SARH Missile into it. You’re forced to maintain lock while I can simply fire and forget. Also it’s as you said…*Tunnel vision Fox-3 users.* Someone well versed in BVR isn’t gonna just simply launch and stay committed.
it is a great missile, but its very risky to use. most players would rather have a relatively safe fire and forget instead of increasing the odds both players die. a good fox 3 player will make you waste all your missiles though, as they may be less dangerous than yours, but they still force you to defend.
i personally carry a pair of ers on both of my 77 carriers, and honestly got better k/ds back when i was using my er only su 27. so i do agree its a great choice even today.
Real. I don’t mind the su27s in sim. The er’s range and speed are pretty crazy. Pitbull fox-3 or not an er is a reliable missile still. Staying fast is key tho for maintaining that lock, and I like tws hdn the most
I personally run ETs and 77s on the SMT. I like the ET's ability to fire at range with no warning.
Nice fight! Since you do 1v1's how about a mixup... Maybe F-14B vs SU-27SMT.
This would be nice :D
typo
Ggs indeed bro.
💀these micas man, those are dangerous in close range
Had fun. Skill to you +1.
GG's indeed. MICAS indeed dangerous in close range. They pull so hard! Thank you for helping!
@@AeroTurtle anytime brother
If you can already see the enemy missile on the radar, can't you just shoot it down?
In theory yes. In practice kinda. There is a small chance the missile will actually impact.
Maybe try ground rb/sim and fly cap! What I do if on a map I don't like or paired with USA haha. You get to intercept CAS and dodge SPAA at the same time, pretty fun.
This ain't a bad idea. noted 07
Why does your fov zoom in and out slightly in maneuvers?
Sim mode, head of the pilot moves according to G forces
@@iansysoev9462Wrong he’s actively moving his head around to look and check his radar and stuff. He has track IR.
Track IR
by default with head trackers you zoom in when you lean forward, he may also just be manually using a zoom axis with his setup.
TrackIR also wt has head bobbing with G-force
Why does keep radar locking with plane not help against chaff? in DCS and IRL it does
not sure?
''Too Far To Hit, Too Close To Dodge''
both mica and R-77, Mica. R-77 is the worst compared to stats on paper ratio. and 'worst' range and trash pull
R-77 does have bad pull indeed
whats your setup bro?
I use x57 rhino hotas
Edit: With trackir
@@AeroTurtle unfortunate for me i use mouse controls withe Opentrack + AITrack, also, i did it here so i dont have to figure out how to ping you in discord
Bro might be playing against bots 😭🙏
I am a Russian main and have noticed the 77 is not nearly as reliable at mid - long range as the alternatives. I heard the tracking and rocket engines were bugged? Either that or the missile is garbage in subsonic but great if launched super sonic. Very confused by my results vs the aim 120 for example. Currently in my Mig still grinding for the Su. o7
In real life r77 is better than aim120 for like the first 15-20 km ,(medium to high alt) and gets significantly worse than aim120 beyond that but in war thunder it has the same drag at high super sonic speeds and subsonic speeds so it’s worse than aim120 at all ranges and speeds
@@hemendraravi4787 Fascinating to get more details like this. I also understand the stabilization grids cause increased drag which would explain the drop off on performance longer into the flight. Short range superiority would be due to a different burn time and intensity I guess? Like a smaller version of the 27ER with its thrust ratio? Thanks for the info!
@@CorpseinaBox grind fins have significantly less drag than planar find (aim120) at higher super sonic speeds , and grind fins pretty much turn into an air break at transonic speeds (under Mach 1.2) so if you launch r77 at a target 15km in front of you coming in hot r77 won’t even get under Mach 2 as the target is not even that far , so it would still have a good amount of energy and would have less drag.
@@hemendraravi4787 yep, r77's should be fired at mach 1.3 and above for a better result
@@caiooliveira4692 but sadly it’s worse than aim120 no matter what in wt. it’s underperforming idk if they will fix this , it has the same range of mica as of now lmao
Can someone buy me a pack 50% off?
get a job
