I don’t think I ever have a hope of ever playing DCS(don’t have a good PC and I don’t have the patience to learn all of the complicated stuff) so I’m glad I can watch people mess around in the game and have fun with it
i once thought i'd never be able to learn it either, now it's one of my favorite games. if you're passionate about it, you'll find a lot of joy and reward in learning it :)

I had that kinda bouncyness before I turned off the force feedback thingy in special options. I play on an xbox controller, so probably shouldn't use that. Maybe it's the same for you
i host it from my own pc. go to multiplayer, host a server, give it a password, add a map, and send your friend your IP and port. in order for it to work you have to give DCS access to public and private networks in your windows firewall. just a warning though, i’m pretty sure this is essentially port-forwarding so it comes with some risks

my friends directly connect by using my ip and port so make sure they have that. you may also need to give DCS access to public and private networks in your firewall. just be cautious because i believe this is essentially port forwarding which comes with some risks

so i did the firewall but when i start the server in dcs it says my server is offline when he tries to join, how do I make the server where he can join, its on public. do i need an external softwhere or anything?
