Not even - as far as we've seen only the most powerful Guardians can swap between subclasses on the fly, and i might be wrong but I don't recall ever seeing a Guardian combining Light and Darkness into a single ability. This might actually make the player character canonically the most powerful Guardian in existence.
I was instantly reminded of the lore page about Osiris' and Sagira's demise in the hell mouth where he was dual wielding daybreak swords into throwing a nova bomb, or in Witch Queen when Ikora did a nova bomb into a chaos reach. They're badass for that. We're going a step further and combining light AND dark from multiple subclasses at once?!
I don't think very many guardians can mix like that. I remember some flavor text once suggesting that skilled and powerful guardians can switch disciplines on the fly, but I always interpreted that to mean they can switch from arc to void and all that. I'm hopeful this will be the main character moment our guardian's needed.

If i had to guess, id say its not an entirely new enemy race, but still looks pretty dope. Has a sort of gothic statue/gargoyle look to it. nvm, it is a new race, mb

It makes the game faster and imo also requires good knowledge of the abilities in the game to be strong in it Supers though just ruin the paste of the game because i have to run away every time instead of being able to play the game because there’s nothing you can do against a super unless you yourself have one I’m fine with fast super regens. I just wished they were a little slower
Because you are easily pleased, I love Cade 6 but bringing him back is lazy and takes away from the impact of his original death. I’d prefer you know, some new content and characters. Bungie has perfected how to take things away from players only to give them back, and have us praise them for it.

Using multiple types of elements was something Bungie originally planned for Destiny as seen in the trailers for Destiny 1. Im so glad that after all these years, we can finally do it.

So you cannot make your own fate, but you can make your own destiny.

It isn’t one we found, but one gifted. Could it be the traveler, which has known this threat had been coming for eons, speaking to the guardian, granting them immense power as a final chance to stop the witness’s dark shape of the universe? The robotic voice could be easily brushed off as someone talking through comms. But I’m willing to bet that in this expansion, we won’t just commune with the traveler, but we will speak with it, or rather, it will speak to us.
I like to think that the person speaking is the real traveler and the giant orb we've been watching this entire time is just their ship they've been using to gift people their power.
I thought it could be another character's ghost since We've only heard a few; Sagira, Finch, Glint, Imaru and our own. I've got no idea who'd ghost it could be if it is one though.

This is a good example of when recycling content can actually be very good, if you give it a refreshing twist, or if it was just good in the first place.

If we log on when it releases to find out its nowhere near as good as we thought it would be it will only make people leave again and Bungie really cant be dealing with that anymore. They're making something fun to give us a reason to play again.

I already have my combined build thought out for a long long time. Exotic weapon of choice is Getaway artist. Main subclass is arc Melee: Strand needles Grenade: arc. Rift: strand. And super: Nova Bomb. Its what i call the total destruction tactical onslaugh build. Getaway artist gives you the turret. Every time you get an arc weapon kill you generate a trace which gives you ability energy this will fuel the other abilities. Then we got the strand three needle charge and the rift to unleash threadlings. I may equip the ahamkara skull helmet which gives you back super energy depending on yhe number of kills nova bomb gives you But the main point of my build is that you never run completely out of ability energy and you always ALWAYS have something to attack with.

I believe in the livestream, they were using subclass mixing in a nightfall. Don’t know how they will balance it all, but damn is that so cool.

@@shadowarceus4937 they cant balance it and I think that's why they've done it. No one likes balanced abilities, what creates hype is the players thinking about what op stuff they can do. If we log on when it releases to find out its nowhere near as good as we thought it would be it will only make people leave again and Bungie really cant be dealing with that anymore. They're making something fun to give us a reason to play again.

I already have my combined build thought out for a long long time.
Exotic weapon of choice is Getaway artist.
Main subclass is arc
Melee: Strand needles
Grenade: arc.
Rift: strand.
And super: Nova Bomb.
Its what i call the total destruction tactical onslaugh build.
Getaway artist gives you the turret. Every time you get an arc weapon kill you generate a trace which gives you ability energy this will fuel the other abilities.
Then we got the strand three needle charge and the rift to unleash threadlings.
I may equip the ahamkara skull helmet which gives you back super energy depending on yhe number of kills nova bomb gives you
But the main point of my build is that you never run completely out of ability energy and you always ALWAYS have something to attack with.
I say it every time but whomever makes the trailers needs to get paid the most because the music the visuals holy red death guardians
