- After the Fact: President Duterte and his allies have made it clear - his administration will not cooperate in the formal investigation into the thousands of killings under his watch.
His spokesman even predicted that the case would just “sleep” without cooperation from the Philippine government.
But can this really derail the process at the International Criminal Court? Or will it only spell more bad news for president duterte… and those who helped implement his brutal drug war?

The people of ICC can't go and start violating the sovereign rights of the country, through investigation or whatever they're doing now. If ICC will force itself illegally in the country's jurisdictions, the Philippine government will force them to put them to jail without due process, because such legal remedy applies only to the country's citizens.
