Love Duke's vibe! He plays in the pocket with a relaxed confidence that's so smooth. Encyclopedic knowledge of blues and swing.
I saw him in Winston-Salem once. He was fantastic. At some point I went to the bar to get a beer. Everybody was crowded under the TV watching a white Ford Bronco going down the highway. I asked the bartender what was going on. He said it was OJ running from the cops. Got my beer and went back to the show.

Duke is the one of the rarest Blues Guitarist to be witnessed by human kind whilst here on Earth. These cats playin’ with him are the real deal too - gold standard knowledge. Quite literally a certified, authentic American Musical Preservation Unit. The phrase,
World Class, only scratches the surface. Hats off to everyone of you that hold this man and his band close to your heart. So pull up & buy yourself a drink and give yourself a pat on the back for having good taste in music.

I did bye the DVD from OHNE FILTER many years back. Duke has more blues styles than many other blues guitarist. Never boring to listen to him.
Duke is a master of his craft and his band is superb!

We were at a show of his Many years ago, he had a broken leg, and was EFFING PLAYING with a CRUTCH under his arm. AMAZING.
