I'm pretty sure. If one side is picked over the other because one side is just better it'll be balanced so that it is that way. Both rhaast and kayn are both cheesy but I like both of them, especially kayn's voice but yeah he and his lines are ptetty edgy but thats his character. I prefer Kayn though.

The weapons don't matter, they're just vessels for the darkin.
So the real question is, if you get all 5 darkin weapons, do you basically become a demon Pokémon trainer for them. There weapons kinda acting like poke balls.

riot specifically stated that kayn will be a kinda champ that if u dont use the transformation when the time comes, your mid game will suffer pretty hard, plus the whole point of the champ is that one transformation is supposed to be a tank shredding frontline while the other is an assassin. that being said, they probably put the transformation timer on there for if you're so behind that you can't kill anything to get the transfomation souls or whatever they or, or in case they have absolutely none of one type of champ(5 melee comp or 5 ranged comp). i dont think that's the best idea XD

Not sure. Possibly. However when turning into the shadow assassin riot says he destroys the darkin inside the weapon. Which often gets me to believe darkin are beings that live inside weapons. Though i might just stick with that they are weapons. But in one of shadow assassin's quotes he says "In death, rhaast serves me" so that could meanthey may not be immortal. But also i dont think you can just destroy a weapon. Rhaast may just be the weakest of darkins lore wise.
I wouldn't say Death(The Darkin that Rhaast is) would be the weakest.
Just a theory i have. Tbh i am not sure how kayn was able to conceal rhaast and control him.
He's not (Fully atleast) He's being overtaken by Rhaast, Maybe he's stopped the spread and controlling him because in the Kayn interactions, a recall quote references that Rhaast has been imprisoned/
Delsin Rowe well we don't know if he is being overtaken. That's for the player to decide in the game. But the fact that Kayn is able to at least hold on and keep rhaast imprisoned is something interesting. We don't know how kayn can and the fact that he could destroy the darkin if becoming the shadow assassin. He must have some incredible dark powers but from where.

Aatrox is the name of the sword, the "guy" (Or body, to be precise), doesn't have one. Aatrox is in full control, kinda like Rhaast, but, since the beginning.
And Trynda is just mad at Aatrox for killing his family in front of him. His legendary skin got nothin' to do with Darkins.

So regarding Varus...
1. Varus' bow is DEFINITELY a Darkin.
2. Varus is not fully consumed by the bow, his motive of revenge is still there, the bow would have no reason to pursue that.
3. Varus must be the name of the bow, not the wielder, or Rhaast would use a different name for him.
4. Kalista has interactions mentioning Varus by name, implying that his actual name is Varus, and this is therefore a retcon.
So there's a bit of a conflict of lore here. Either this is a change of lore (that may or may not be rectified properly) and Kalista is now outdated with those voice lines, or this is an inconsistency that they didn't think of / care to address.

Federico Rodrigues Remember Varus' lore. He touched a box (which I presume contained a Darkin) and the thing that was inside it "infected" Varus' body. Maybe the Darkin's possession of the body isn't complete yet and Rhaast is not sure if Varus still controls himself or the darkin. (I just got hyped, sorry)

Something that would be interesting is a less competitive form, perhaps the desires of the Bow and Varus line up and so they have a symbiosis of sorts. Of course, this is just what I think would be cool and has nothing to do with what it actually is/will be when fully updated.
