What Greenhillmario is talking about is the fact that in the first Xenoblade Chronicles, all momentum is kept when on ice, and when you jump off of an icy surface, you keep ALL of the speed you had. There's even an ice cave where you had to perform a MASSIVE jump using the ice physics. Combine said ice physics with the stupidly high jumps in this game = to the moon!
+Tobi of the Akatsuki basically like TAS super Mario 64 where you move so fast you go into alternate universes.

Yami There's only loading screens for skip travel, cutscenes, and entering New Los Angeles. Besides that no loading screens, which is pretty amazing.
Hunter Wynn I don't know of any game that has no load screens when traveling around the world, especially not this large.

Hunter Wynn Lack of optimization. Maybe a 1st party game by Sony or Microsoft can achieve the same thing. 3rd parties lack the ability to optimize because they did not make the hardware, which is why 1st part Nintendo games are so well made.
You don't know how much I hate when someone says "Where's Shulk?" or "Is this in the same universe as the first one?" NO!! People have said this in every Xenoblade Chronicles X video and it's even said in this video but people still ask those same questions....

Barrelrider Bombur didnt seem like it but it was still 100% seemless travel between 2 extremely huge areas. games on the ps4 and xbox one have alot of trouble doing that which shows how lazy there optimization is since those consoles are much more powerful than the wiiu

JAJAvsWORLD Xenoblade X is running 720p upscaled at 30 fps. GTA V uses more graphically impressive effects and runs it native 1080p at 30 fps.

The way he colored the Skel in the end reminded me of Evangelion... I love the customization and vastness of this game I can tell I will easily do 500 plus hours playing this game....

I'm currently playing the Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii, and I'm wowed by how this game is keeping me interested and entertained for about 20 hours so far and I've just started the main story! Just an amazing game. Even grinding is fun in XC. The customization, battle system, story and athmosphere - WOW man! So as we can see X is what it seems to be an even better and bigger game than XC - I'm speachless. This game will be massive! No doubt Nintendo will have the best RPG this generation as well. Cheers gamers!

The E3 trailer had a line something like "A vessel for our Lord has finally arrived", and the original Xenoblade had terms like Yaldabaoth and Apocrypha. I'd be really disappointed if they removed the references in the Skell model names. I'm a big fan of Lailah and Inferno.

Man, the amount of nostalgia I have for this presentation is immense. I truly do miss these times, so damn much. No matter what anyone says, the 2015 Wii U era was a special, different time for me.

This was a FANTASTIC playthrough of XENOBLADE CHRONICLES X, this was a GREAT game on the Wii U and a remaster of this game with XENOBLADE CHRONICLES X 2 on the Switch would be much appreciated. Sam, Demetrious, and Rich all did a GREAT job in this showcase of the game, as well. Here's to more Nintendo Treehouse live gameplay events like this in the near future.
It looks like it runs very well and the world looks absolutely mind blowing. This game really looks like game of they year material. A truly staggeringly deep and gigantic RPG. With this, The Witcher 3, Persona 5...This is gonna be a fantastic year for RPGs

Also, I know it seems like nitpicking, but I really hope there's an animation for getting into the Doll added later. It's a small detail, but It helps immensely with my immersion.

Yeah, they can still include it in updates I suppose. It's the only thing that really bothers me. Otherwise, the animations are fantastic.

I'm assuming this is the Japanese version. It confuses me that Japanese things have so much English all over it.
Japanese people have to learn two alphabets that are about 50 letters each. And then they have to learn 2,000+ kanji. And on top of that, they have to learn English?
Illoosion japan uses certain english words commonly and the custom character's name was made by a american as you can see
Illoosion If you watch anime like naruto or fairy tale with japanese dubbing, you will notice phrases like ''Nice timingu-des!''
Illoosion Knowing people who have been to Japan, many places in Japan use english words a lot on their signs and other things.
Guys, I KNOW Japanese people use certain English a lot.
I'm just saying, it must be really hard to memorize ALL of the following:
1. ~100 kana
2. 2,000+ kanji
3. Japanese words, pronunciation, grammar, and et cetera
4. The English/Roman/Latin/whatever alphabet
5. Certain English words

Because after Mario kart 8 comes out, everyone says they'll get a WiiU, then Bayonetta 2 comes out and everyone says they'll get a WiiU, them Smash comes out and you get the picture. But the sales never reflect what everyone is saying so I think it's easy to assume that people are just talking instead of doing. I guarantee you people will say. I'll get a WiiU, when Zelda comes out.
I don't think there were no sales boost after release MK8 or Bayo 2 at all. It was just not enough. I think people still think of Nintendo products as "mainly for kids". And kids these days... They like to play "mature games for mature people".
People just want an excuse. It's fine. I enjoy my WiiU and to me that's all that matters.

This game looks really cool and the mechs are my favorite thing so far about it. It kinda reminds me of Evangelion.
Good day. I am a born consumer of Nintendo products, Nintendo is part of my life since childhood. I am here today to try to understand the Wii U vision for the company, for in the name of many consumers and console fans, come try to understand the neglect that the Wii U has had in such a short lifetime of the console. We seek to understand simple things like why not launch a decent Pokémon pro console (knowing that it is a franchise that sells both) and could leverage sales of the console, or for example getting key games on virtual console (example: TopGear3000, Bomberman, Mortal Kombat etc). We enjoyed the Wii U and do not want to see him die early. We are not seeking a new console table (in fact expect the NX seje not a successor of the Wii U) because we know that there really flashy new Wii U can indeed overcome their sales. Thank you Nintendo.

As I'm currently playing Xenoblade 3DS for the first time and loving it, Xenoblade Chronicles X is a day one buy for sure! Can't wait!

Noctis Pendragon Final Fantasy 15 has been dumbed down for teens who only go to Micheal Bay movies. Look at how a franchise all of sudden went from a series about mystical fantasy worlds to a game with emo protagonists, cars, and guns.
Xenoblade may have been graphically downgraded, but it looks far more interesting than FF15.

I didn't dedicate myself to dualblade classes until I started playing the mmo maplestory. from there any game that has a dualblade dps class I main that class. if not they have to atleast have a theif type class for me to truely enjoy it
I have seen SO many people try to give this game hate and it just doesn't work. It looks beautiful, All of the features look so inviting, the world your in looks so emersive and amazing! And some people are arguing about why they should keep the name "Dolls" over "Skells"? Stop complaining and just enjoy the game!

Noctis Pendragon Battles. I thought they would be more action oriented, but it just seems like your placement doesn't really matter, and you just press icons to do different skills and then wait.
Nison545 Yeah same here , it is like a turn-based game where the IA moves automaticly for you .
Noctis Pendragon No, in Xenoblade you move the characters yourself and your positions do matter.
Nison545 Yes, there are hit boxes. Depending on where you are standing in according to the enemy's placement, certain Arts will have bonus effects. Also, I think that attacking at a certain angle on some enemies in this game will actually destroy body parts like the dome-like shell on the pig monsters' foreheads.
This really looks amazing. I can't wait to play it.
Now all we need is a release date for the English versions.

Helpful tip, the colors of the arts actually show what they do, in xenoblade chronicles red was physical, blue was support, and white was the talent art.

@Noelzilla1 they're not discontinuing it. The nx is going to be alongside the wiiu, not replace it. The nx is something new entirely. Not just a new console

From what other people have been saying, your avatar will have VA altho I honestly just started really looking into XCX info about a week ago so I didn't know that they announce character customizable for almost a year now. As for the character, I hope the avatar is voiced, it would be a shame otherwise. It wouldn't be to hard, dragon age has done it, mass effect, allot of DnD type rpg's.

Not sure, those games placed a high focus on the narrative while this one is trying to find a nice balance. Not sure but from the Xenoblade Direct that was just released, it doesn't seem to be the case, only your body will move.
However a mute protagonist doesn't mean the story will be terrible. It can still be great ^^
From what I hear, Cross will play an important role in the game regardless.
