- Sometimes played with lyrics, sometimes without, this song has only been played as outro to Jimi Thing at acoustic shows. The song Pantala Naga Pampa has the same chord structure and was surely based on this jam.

When I listen to this song, it's generally at night when I'm trying to go to sleep. I get lost thinking about past memories, especially those with my dad and brothers as a kid. I always end up crying longing to redo my childhood and all my regrets.
Now find another song like that.

My all time favorite song from Dave, it just hits me that way. something short and simple makes me think just as deep if not deeper than his other masterpieces. My dream is to one day hear this live by him. "What will become of me when im gone" is going to be tattooed on my leg along with a silouhette of dave and firedancer. When I hear this song I reflect on my life and the legacy I am leaving behind...realizing that all of my shared moments with loved ones are likes grains of sand falling through the hourglass. Not so soon from now I will be in death's grip with a life left of memories to reflect on. Then....What will become of me when I'm all poured out?

yeah i always listened to jimi thing and never knew that the outro was an actual song, i thought it was just a one time thing for that concert. i absolutely love this song, and i think it sounds better on the Luther college CD.
