Say what you want but this man deserved the 2015 Finals MVP.
Arguably in 2018 too cuz he played just as good if not better than KD
@@KingKage96 Exactly the league hates Steph Curry I don't care what anybody says.
@@KingKage96 he was the best player on the floor in 3 out of the 4 games and broke an nba finals record in game 2.
No question he should’ve won in ‘15. The narrative was so Lebron-centered that they gave it to the guy guarding Lebron. That’s why finals MVP and MVP shouldn’t be voted on by the media

ESPN's definition of clutch in 2020: 5 point game with 5 minutes left in 4th or OT
ESPN's definition of clutch when talking about Steph: Go-ahead shots only in the last 20 seconds of the 4th quarter
ESPN analysts are some of the most toxic in all sports and Im glad I stopped watching them 2 years ago
Also why isnt a shot to cut the lead from 7 to 4 with 4 mins left not clutch? The definition of clutch is so dumb lol
Bc clutch is last or second to last possession of the game. Around 40-50 sec
Idk why people act like Steph is the only player in nba history to miss shots in the clutch and that he hasn’t hit clutch shots in the playoffs
People are so quick to mention when he underperforms but I never see them give him credit when he does show up
Rip he missed two shots that should save the team but yeah nobody is perfect

LivingGamer_ GRS everyone miss man that's why I don't hate on Kobe, lebron, curry and many more stars who miss on clutch. I know they are mad for that but one bad performance or shot people will overshadow the good performances with that. Like Lebrons 11 point game, curry in game 7, dame against the nuggets. @@kristophergreenhow5436 I mean curry is obviously better then dwade tho so I would hope he does
Absolute highway robbery in 2015. I love Iggy but that was the most horseshit I've ever seen. 2018 was debatable. KD actually averaged more points through the series. But I would have given it to Steph because he was clearly the most important player in 3 out of the 4 games.
@@kristophergreenhow5436 He did 29-9-6 in game 1, 33-8-7 game 2, 37-6-4 in game 4 not to mention 3blocks but they dont wanna point it out
@@slamandjam2 no 2018 it wasn't debatable curry was almost averaging a triple double with averaging 30+ points averaging more 3s than kd he hit 2 clutchs in game 1 and 2 he also closed out game 4 making 9s putting up 37 points he hit unbelievable shots in game 1,2 and 4
Wait but max Kellerman told me he doesn’t hit the shot when it matters the most but somehow it is a 15 minute video of him hitting clutch shots interesting
Thats just cuz he they knitpick his stats to say hes 0-8 in go-ahead shots in the last *20 seconds*. They went as far as the last 20 seconds just to downplay him
A lot of players can have videos like this especially when u make it to the finals every year cause u have a super team
@@menkirdennis6686 was just saying that the other day, thank you for pointing that out. That stat was heavily curved by ESPN to make Curry look bad. “The clutch” is generally considered the end of the 4th quarter, not the last 20 seconds. If you bump it up to the last 6 minutes, he has a hella lot of shots in the clutch 😂 is it acceptable for him to be 0/8 in those go-ahead situations? Obviously not. But he’s amazingly clutch in every other scenario. I think the best way to put it is that he has not shown the last shot is for him, but any other type of shot. He’s money
I mean a lot of these games they ended up losing 🤷🏾♂️
Exactly. Why pick under 20 secs instead of 30 secs?? Nitpicking at its finest.
Didn't you get the memo? Shots like these count as clutch only for OTHER players. For Steph, it can't be a game-tying shot, or a shot to turn a 2-point lead into a 5-point lead with 25 seconds left, or a go-ahead shot with 23 seconds left, or 17 points in an overtime period. Those are clutch ONLY for OTHER players. For Steph, we only count it as clutch if it's a "go-ahead" shot in the final 20 seconds. Them's the rules.
I hold him to a different standard because of how deified he is by fans and media.
And a go ahead shot has a moveable definition
@@thedarkknight9153 So you allow other people to influence your reasoning because you don't like them. You definitely sound like a free-thinker.

Still don’t understand how he didn’t get it 2015. Voters were blind
Them giving Andre the FMVP was their way of still giving a nod to LeBron..
Zach Lowe, who actually had a vote for FMVP, said on his podcast that it should've gone to Curry in hindsight, and in the moment they didn't realize what they were witnessing. Steph was the one generating the offense for the Warriors in such a way that was getting guys like Iguodala and Klay WIDE open looks in the Finals, which Iggy capitalized on
