    Social media is probably the most annoying thing I have to deal with when it comes to distractions. These days, I try to only use it for educational purposes.

      It's hard, though. Especially apps like tiktok and Instagram. Instagram literally forces you to watch reels as soon as you open the app. For me I just use UA-cam and I have recommendations hidden so I can only search for what I want to learn about.

    This is a serious problem my spouse has literally fried her brain cells due to tiktok everything she speaks about she says she saw it or heard of it on tiktok i gave up on her the sad part is she is training my kids to do and follow her footsteps by constantly scrolling and doing nothing all day they see it and follow her , i work out i work alot and do physical work with my kids when im home just to keep them going these days thanks my friend for the advice of taking a walk without a phone im going to start that also with my daughter

    I got sick of TikTok at the start of the year, bc i understood how bad its doing in my mental life and how I was literally wasting 4 hours of my day doing nothing, and the thing is, the tought of deleting tiktok came to me when i was extremely bored at school... Now looking at this video, this kinda makes sense, just go to school more often then guys :D

      A few matches a day won't hurt, you're allowed to have some fun. As long as you've done the most important tasks for the day & you're not gaming for hours and ignoring the work.

    The problem is this generation us fucked up with stumulation kids in the 80s didn't have this shit they actually had a normal dopamine system i'm 18 and I'm smart enough to realize this rut of a world, so yesh we change change this behavior with a turned over mindset and discipline ourselves with the better habits, Cold Showers Meditation reading working out going for a walk y'know what's the point of doing the same thing constantly if life's too damn short, I get overstimulation is hard to get over but it's possible to overcome
