Nice! I like that area of the lake. We got a fair amount of rain here this week so I would expect it to still be muddy. Some areas will be better than others up there but overall I’d wager it’ll be a heavy stain to muddy.
Hey, ive never fished Clarks Hill, but this coming Saturday i have a kayak bass tournament there. Im coming from Gray Ga, please tell me which boatramp i should put in at, and what bait to use..we have to meet at Hadden Outdoors in Appling afterwards, so a nice fishing spot/boat ramp near there is preferred.. please help me out, cause otherwise im going in there blind..
There’s several ramps around Haddens you could put in at. Wildwood, Keg Creek, Lake Springs are a couple. There will be fish in all stages of the spawn and likely a shad/herring spawn as well. I’d say fish points with your favorite herring imitation baits and you’ll catch em!
@ZachRamseyFishing I've been googling fishing spots gps coordinates on the lake,.. what do u think about Mistletoe State Park boatramp/area..? And Thanks for your time Zack, I really appreciate you..!
@@johngwilson730 Mistletoe is a good ramp and plenty of good stuff to fish around there as well. Probably a 15-20 minute ride from Haddens. Happy to help!
@ZachRamseyFishing That's it then, that's where I'm going.. ! Thanks for the help !! Last month I came in 4th place at Lake Tobosofkee, but it's a lake I grew up fishing on, Clarks Hill will b new to me.. (Pedal drive Kayak Bass Fishing). Thanks 4 the tips!
Good content. If you dont mind me asking whats your buzzbait setup as far as rod and line im having a hard time getting my buzzbaits to start up quickly.
Not yet. Another week or two and there will probably be tons on beds. I think a lot are still staging. But there are probably some already done spawning as well.
LOVE LOVE LOVE a buzz bait!! My favorite way to catch them. Thanks for sharing!
I’m right there with you! Hopefully this year will bring a lot of buzzbait footage!
Enjoyed the video man! I could tell you were keying in on little adjustments to the buzzbait bite there. Love it!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed! Yeah a buzzbait is definitely one of my confidence baits, especially on the Hill!
this is an epic video! wish we had water like that to fish a buzzbait😂 such a fun bite
Thanks man! The Hill definitely provides a lot of opportunities for close quarters combat. It’s a ton of fun haha
Great video!!
Thanks!!
I am coming on Monday for the week, I will be fishing just up past the Raysville bridge area. do you think the water will still be muddy by Monday?

Are you using a boogerman, with the skirt taken off, with a soft plastic on?
Good eye, that’s exactly what it is!

Awesome question! I’ll have a video up this week on that very topic! So hang tight for a couple days and then I’ll tell y’all everything I know!
You think most fish are on the bed
