@@PrettyGreenVinylGuy hey it’s the Pretty Green Vinyl guy!!! Thank you for creating a great list this go around- that Supertramp MOFI is one of my favorites and is the first audiophile LP i ever bought - I enjoyed your picks as well - thanks for keeping the dream alive! 🙌👍
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video - It's great to be able to share my passion - I love your channel and your most excellent carefully curated collection 😁❤️👍
Back at you Mitch! We look forward to being vinyl community and music loving partner 😳 - I will be on the lookout for your #vinytag2025 episode. Let’s keep in touch 👍🇺🇸
Thank you for correcting me - I got my guitar gods mixed up 😳 - others have commented on this as well- Satch is amazing and my FAVORITE of my guitar idols!! 😁👍
Yes he was! I should have mentioned them as well but I wanted to keep the video brief- I think I talked to fast because when I watched it back I couldn’t even understand what I said a few times 😳😁 - I picked that album up at a record show in North Carolina some years back - I had it on CD in the mid-90’s and it was lost in a theft - it’s just a great recording no matter what format- thanks for sharing and watching!
New subscriber here. Some nice choices there. I’m quite a bit older than you so not much into metal. However I did get to see Jimi Hendrix twice. Thanks for sharing.
Well I am closing in on 60 and grew up on hard rock, rock and roll, and (yes) country - as a kid I played drums in a country rock band with my dad for 3 years before I joined the Navy. I always liked the harder edged 70s rock and for some reason when I heard Iron Maiden and the like I was drawn to it - not my daily driver but I dig in now and again!! Thanks for the sub - Larry is older than me and we have some good stuff lined up in 2025 with the rebranding of the channel- if there is anything you would like to see or have us dig into let us know!! Todd-
80's metal and the Stones, you got my sub! I just posted an 80's metal vid I did with my son. Big points for RIOT!!! Cal Tjader and the Ventures in Space in the background, fellow surf/exotica fan I assume!
Yes!! I have a very eclectic and varied collection- this way I can play anything that fits my complex mood 😉 - I will sub to your channel - anyone who is a fan of Riot is a friend of mine!! 😁👍
@@7BobbyGaylor7 thank you Bobby!!- it sounds like we have similar tastes 😉 - I also like Riots album Restless Breed - it was my introduction to the band - thanks for checking out my tags 😁👍
@@7BobbyGaylor7 I have that one as well- I just picked up a new (I rarely buy new records) Archives volume 3 1987-1988 - really well done comp - maybe I will do my next episode of “Records I Can’t Listen To When My Wife Is Home” on Riot 😁 - my first episode is on Type O Negative - here if you’re interested: ua-cam.com/video/37N6K8T1G00/v-deo.htmlsi=9HnHhzQfsHrPruwT - if you have ideas for the Riot episode - let me know I will write them into the script and give you a shout out - that and a dollar will get you… 😂
Great lyrics choice RUSH!. Nice picks. And I agree, 'Defund the Police' was a dumb name, but the idea of rearranging the funds to more community programs to prevent crime was a great idea....as cops only show up after a crime is committed. That debut Tesla record is perfect though. Again, great video...what drummer wouldn't want to play like Neil. He is for sure missed.
So many great lyric passages from Rush - wanted to do The Garden but I don’t have the vinyl (CD only) - your right we need to rearrange a lot of funds right now - our government(s) is wasting money - I think we have an administration in there now that will trim that fat! Thank you for the great words and for watching 👍😁🇺🇸
@graybeardsnation only time will tell... Iceland of all countries has great elections ( equal time for all candidates- no $$ corporate intrusions) and leaders. They got as much greed out of government as one nation could realistically hope for. We can learn a lot from other nations. Rush - Neil is in a league of their own for lyrics. Pink Floyd also comes a close second...
I have the Mofi Supertramp as well and it sounds fantastic. Midnight Oil doesn’t get enough love. Thank you for making a video.

I completely agree with you about Cal Tjader. I enjoyed your video. Take care. ♥️🤗

Eddie Van Halen was not taught by Satch. Satch taught Steve Vai.
Eddie was self taught. Anyway, nice tag. Glad to see Satch get some love!
Cheers☘️

I need to get that Judas Priest live album. Dio was also in Elf and Rainbow.

@@graybeardsnation That is a good Riot album. I've actually been enjoying the last few albums from the reformed Riot V, the singer is killer!
