@@varangianguard7764 Gun control is a broad thing. this isn't a situation to say we need gun control. Its the people not the weapon. Guns are completely fine. If he felt threatened in any way, pulling the gun out is legal with reasonable cause. If he put his arm on him, maybe not. but if it went past that then pulling out the gun would have been completely acceptable.
@@dentonctrev The problem is: it's the people WITH the weapon. A weapon on it's own does nothing, but an aggresive person without self control with a gun is far more dangerous than an agressive person without selfcontrol and without a gun.
Therefore I'm happy to live in a country where only the militairy, the police and the criminals have guns. At this moment it somewhere between 80 and 90% of the people killed by guns are criminals (by other criminals mostly, sometimes by the police).
It's saver for cops too. Last decades it's been less than 1 cop per 3 years (!) to be killed by gunfire here in the Netherlands. I don't even want to know that number for the US. Plus side of that is that cops don't wave around with their weapon when they stop you for speeding or drinking a beer in public. That would save a lot of innocent lives as well.
