I wish they had a mod for smaller cities. Someone needs to get on that. It's always annoying when I try I place a city on earth and out planet gets royally fucked up.
its not fake nor glitch...I can confirm that during my explorations a have literally found this solar system from this video...all the planets and names ...i was feeling so happy xD
Ah yes, a comment I made three years ago. No, I wasn’t talking about coming across the planet Earth- I’m aware that it’s hardcoded into the game a location. I was talking about the *random chance* of starting a game via the menu and that game choosing the planet earth as one of the new game planets.
If you look at the Spore main menu, Sol is on the spiral tentical that has a cloud jutting out on the end of it. It's kinda hard to see, but it's there. Sol is then in the middle of the tenticle.
@slithersls The main reason why they didn't put Pluto in the Sol System in Spore is because There are three catergorized as Dwarf Planets in our Solar System: Ceres, Pluto, and Eris(Also known as Xena), Eris being the largest. There are several more beyond the Kuiper Belt though that fit's the description, 44 to be exact. (Including Pluto and Eris).
@kurtisdominator Actually pluto is still considered a planet along with an estimated 1000+ unrecognized (by the IAU) or undiscovered planets and 13 recognized and discovered planets. Its a new type of planet called a "dwarf planet" Mars and Earth, Mercury, Venus and Mars. The gas planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The dwarf planets are Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.
@Dustyturtles No that is cell stage. Did you at all watch the E3 trailer? Sir, I believe you may have your Evolution wrong, because from my Biology class it told me a single cell organism grew several genetic mutations over time to produce a multicelled organism, eventually from those mutations produced a Jellyfish (and also insects). Then to a fish, then to an amphibian, then to a reptile, bird, mammal. It doesn't go like" A multi-celled Microscopic Organism turns to a Oxygen breathing land animal"
@tom4705 It's called Spore. Which is about $50. If you want the Creepy and Cute Parts pack, it's $20, and Galactic Adventures Expansion is $30. :P Although it might have been lowered in price because it was released in 2008.. O:
Once there was a glitch in my game that replaced the planet with the crashed ship in my home system with earth. Spore got two special planet models mixed up. It made the game unplayable, because there was no wreck I could scan. ^^°
@DrKayned Scientists assume Earth is in a Spiral Galaxy because we are not in a irregular Galaxy nor in a "Tadpole" Galaxy. We've had no Galactic Collisions and the most common type of Galaxy are Spiral Galaxies. Plus, we observed evidence that The Milky Way Galaxy is Spiral.
@Frogzisdabitch When you watch the Spore trailer it shows you a creature swimming in the sea, but when i got the game, you couldn't make a Colony Under the Sea, do you think that will be an expansion?
@bluetube5000 I disagree, All Home planets are preset designs, and Earth is in the same location in every game. It is always in the Orion Arm. 2 "bubble" on the arm? maybe third... And somewhere in there it lies present. All planets are different and randomly generated except a select few. Although whether the location of stars is preset or random itself is uncertain. For if it was random, you may see stars inside of stars, so preset stars would be the most logical decision.
I used the iToast when it first came out. Now they have like, the iToast 4 coming out soon. I heard it is pretty much the same thing, just smaller with faster internet.
@cornmon Nope, a moon is defined as an item of significant size that orbits a planet, dwarf planet, or even an asteroid (There are asteroids with moons, some in our solar system). Everything has a gravitational field, for example, if you put a melon in deep space, and threw an apple near it at the right speed, it would orbit the melon. anything can get a spherical shape from gravity, if it's in space for as long as it takes (sometimes billions of years) it will form a perfect sphere.
Truthfully, all I did was downloaded a mod that allowed me to use all objects on all worlds. So I blewup my home world. I mean I could have monolithed Earth, but I didnt want to. This was cooler.
This has been occurring lately. I am quite uncertain why this is though. I remember I was attempting to make an account recently and it gave me the same error. If you would like I'll try to do some research on the subject and post any info I find.
It May Have Something To Do With The New Version of Spore... I Would Try To Go To Earth With A Different Civilization Of Your Species And It Should Say "Saved Game" Where It Is. When You Talk To It, Your Game Will Either Crash Again, Or Start Working.
eh just a quick question, how DO you get any planet to be your homeworld? (oh by the way homeworld is a good game) anyways uh nice vid but uh....is there a way to sell planets to other races?
Yeah, I haven't gotten that. But that is most likely because I was using an older version of Spore. like... 1.03 I am assuming. I have no idea how it will work in the modern version. It would be tragic if what you encountered always happens now. This glitch would be obsolete. :(
eh sorry didnt see it, also, is there a way to do that from the start of your game? i believe that when you terraform a planet in a system to t1-t3 (cant have any other planets terraformed) it lets you start there. although this may be a VERY conveniant coincydink but im not sure lol
You Can Do Everything But Adventure Creator, Adventure Editor, And Play Adventure. You need to buy Galactic Adventures to get those. Which Needs Spore to play.
No. There are moons that orbit other planets aswell. For example, your starting world always has a moon. They make moons too rare in Spore though. Gas giants frequently have moons, and the rare one are naturally occuring moons orbiting a terrestrial planet. :P
@caetanmatrix1 Yes you can, or at least with the most updated version of spore. It's how I beat that "I want to color planets!" badge. You can't put down mountains and other tools like that. But you Can change the Terrascore and Color of the planet.
@MrZimmerson The Spore Team said it is impossible to have an Underwater Stage,(Which we Users know it's not).Spore Users have come up with many ways to make a Water Stage Possible. But to answer your question, in my opinion they will, eventually make one. It's right now one of the Top Requested Expansions for Spore. So I'm assuming they will eventually surprize us. But don't stop hoping for it! I'm sure it's still on the Debate Table over at Maxis, and it'll get an easier "Not Now" Than "Yes"
@TheCrazyEuropeans But still. It's still bound to the laws of life. A flowing liquid is needed for life to develop because if you have a pot of water, and put different seasonings on it at different times, it'll form up at the bottom in layers. Although if you stir it, things may clump together and it'll never settle. Thats how to first primitive microbe was formed... Although.. Not to mention lightning, heat, huge waves and many other things had to play their parts. Like they say, don't look
So do you still play Spore? I just picked it back up again and I can't find anyone interesting enough on there. I used to have at least 4 Maxis employees but now I search for people and cannot find anyone!
@Wussup8000 No, I didn't go to the Center of the Galaxy yet. :P The water level actually is messed up a bit. But if you try getting rid of all the water and make Earth T0 and dry, It won't loose like, any water. Same if you make it Too wet at T0. It's a weird planet on Spore. :P
@Frogzisdabitch But if it were your home planet then there would be nine colonies, so probably it's just a hack. But it's cool that you have 3 colonies on Earth.
@puke1523 You could always paint your homeplanet without mods.. That's how I always beat the "I want to paint planets" mission. But making Earth your homeplanet is indeed, a mod. xP
hey ty for the pics i enjoyed them. i only looked at the pics tho and is it only me that only sees 2 arms in them even? like two great rivers with many tributaries?
@Overkill7654 Actually, all colonies will do damage do the surface of Earth, I would suggest Colonizing Siberia, Antarctica, And these next two are optional, but the Central United States or Africa, best ways to apply good 3 colonies without disturbing the Earth's surface too much. :P But I like your Idea! Put down a Wild Life Sanctuary, or whatever it is called,I forgot xD But so you can place a bunch of animals on the planet so you can use it as a zoo--THATS IT!Something with a Zoo in its name
@overfrozen1 You can't on your homeplanet though, dissapointingly, Although I do often do the glitch where you can edit a Selectible Planet. Then of course play on it :P
i know but i mean it still should be there because its like a planet it even has a moon and mabye an atmosphere(dont know) but it was known as a planet for 50 years
@Deddelush I don't believe it is around anymore unless they remade it... This was for Spore 1.03 or 1.3 or something... The version that is now out is Spore 1.051 or 1.51... I can't surely remember... But if they remade it, it should be lurking upon the internet somewhere. :P If I find it I will put it in the decription. xD
@multiraistlin Were you listening when i said "ORIGINAL"? i didnt use the glitch, in civilization it had red spice but converted to yellow, i dont even understand how to use the glitch
@Aizec300 Nooo. It has the homeworld symbol above the planet. Plus, I used hacks to blow up my homeworld, in doing so, My first colonized planet became my homeworld :D
It clearly is not your home world, you can terraform and recolonization it which is not possible in the vanilla form of spore. Either way, Our solar system IS in fact in spore, it’s just a little difficult to find. Just go up the spiral arm, instead of down to the galactic center.
logically thats a hyper tiny chance of getting that thus i havent encountered someone obtaining earth as a homeworld, i would say at least 0.000001% chance of the spore galaxy to get that planet
@MultiRaistlin The Game glitched up and gave Earth Purple Spice for some odd reason... Like, I visited it before and it was yellow, then the game crashed, when I returned it was Purple. o.O But I Glitched a Mod to make it my homeplanet... In a sense. xD
@cheese319 It's only a game, imagine if the planets were in scale? It would be impossible to run this game on a normal computer. Sorry for my bad english, i'm brazilian

@slithersls The main reason why they didn't put Pluto in the Sol System in Spore is because There are three catergorized as Dwarf Planets in our Solar System: Ceres, Pluto, and Eris(Also known as Xena), Eris being the largest.
