Baby, I'm a recycle-enthusiast! I recycle all cardboard and paper materials in my shop, plus I'm trying to use cello-bags at a minimum (specially for stickers and zines!) I get so anxious owning an online shop because there's SO MANY packing supplies involved, so I'm seriously the best I can to reduce and re-use stuff! >:) ps. we need a secret hand shake for our recycling enthusiast club
I did order from your shop before but I can't remember if the sticker sheets and the zine came in little plastic pocket things back then. if so, can we add a note asking you to not use them for a particular order and just like put the items as-is in the envelope? because I think I'm about to order something again, and that would be an awesome option c:

I'm so glad you got someone to help you! What you said about burning yourself as a freelancer is super true! I had an Etsy shop since my sophomore year of high school, and there was a point where school, making more items for my shop and sending orders as well as balancing everything else in life made me HATE what I was doing, so I ended up closing my store about two months ago and now I'm trying to find my love for creating again as well as getting my artistic juices flowing. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us :)

Thanks for sharing all your secrets! ;) Your system for organizing receipts and things is great, I may have to copy that. In the US we call those clear things "sheet protectors" and I use them for all kinds of stuff. This was a really cool video, high five Fran!
Really good productive video this one... and I like the space that you have shared.
Highly recommend 1tap receipts phone app to cut down on paper receipts. hmrc no longer require you to keep physical copies, so being able to forward PayPal and online receipts directly to it is a lifesaver. Plus photographing and filing cash receipts. All download able to csv as well to put into whatever accounts format you use.

Thank you, Fran. I noticed your printer in another video and thought the same as mine and it is! I am so glad to know you like it. :) I am starting out and have been experimenting with paper. I design cards and custom invitations for events, so the paper changes based on the client's needs. BUT, I am experimenting with art prints now and I haven't found a paper I like yet. I love your videos!

I'm not sure if it's the same outside Canada, but you can buy very large sheets of somerset, some places even have it on a 5ft roll. If you have the space to cut it down, it could be an option with less packaging.
