i find it so cute. kenji knew in the beginning, but it’s not over. the relationship just started and I find it amazing they find aid in each other. just because darius and brooklynn isn’t happening doesn’t mean people get to hate on a relationship that is. i’m just personally happy with whatever goes. it’s a good show, and I hope they get off and back into their lives

Plus communications to send help. Had they not been psychos clearly could have helped the kids. Also, Darius plan C, worked, most of his plans work if the group follows them. Yaz getting annoyed by dinosaurs has nothing to do with Darius love for them. Kenji’s “put the group first” comment was because he lacks in mature thinking and more to do with him liking Brooklynn. Personally, I think Brooklynn had some feelings for Darius at first, but yeah, Darius cared more about dinosaurs than humans, he lost his chance which turned out to be Kenji’s who then began to learn the importance of caring about his friends in season 2(thanks to Yaz the legend lol).

One of my favorite lines of Kenji is when Kenji and Brooklyn are in the Kayak in season 1 and Kenji says to Brooklyn “is there anyway you could make Sammy feel more worse than she already does.” That line is one of the sweetest and realest things I’ve ever heard.

It hurts that you left out Kenji getting Brooklynn to cool off about Sammy when they were in the CKK. It was meaningful that he actually was the one to tell her something so adult and level-headed, and it seemed to really impress her. That was the first moment she seemed to realize there was more underneath his glib facade. I also loved her later admitting that Kenji was right about that and bemoaning how wrong it felt to have to say that.

I just started watching this show so I’m late to the party. But when I watched season 1, I feel like the writers were trying to set up Darius and Brooklyn, but by the end of season 2, and seeing Kenji and Brooklyn interact more, I knew it was gonna be the two of them instead. Their interactions felt so natural, and they related a lot to each other because they didn’t interact with people their own age growing up. They didn’t have normal childhoods like the other campers. Their relationship was built off of trust and comfort
The moment i knew there was something brewing when kenji stayed with brook in dino hunter camp, and also kenji gets away with sleeping on brooks shoulder.
Darius had a chance when brooklyn was kidnapped, but he preferred dinosaurs to Brooklyn, just the opposite of Kenji he's proven that he puts his friends above everything, that's why I think Darius missed his chance with Brooklyn and Kenji deserved it. I accepted the ship after the series season 4 because even though I felt it came out of nowhere, it was mostly because I forgot that these scenes existed due to the season release date schedule so makes it hard to remember some stuff, and also the scenes with Darius and Brooklyn really took up a lot of the seasons at best for me…. I see some people say that Darius cares more about dinosaurs then his friends, and I would like to point out why that is a bit untrue. First is that one of Darius’s goals from the very beginning has been to get the others home, safe and sound. He even says this multiple times each season, and it’s clear that he prioritizes their survival, sometimes over his own, such as when he tries to do things on his own. Second is every time he goes to help the dinosaurs, he doesn’t force any of the camp fam to help him. In fact, he attempts to push them away multiple times, like in season 2 with the game hunters, and season 3 with the Scorpios Rex. His friends CHOOSE to help him. Lastly is that in season 4, Darius prioritizes calling for help over a life threatening fight between Pearce and the T-Rex.
At 2:09 when Brooklyn and Kenji were at the camps, at that moment I knew they were soulmates ✨ I’m so sad that camp Cretaceous is over for good (for any1 who doesn’t know season 5 is the last season :( )
I feel like at first they never intended to get Kenji and Brooklyn together but that just makes their relationship more natural. Besides, they were very different people 4 seasons ago.

It hurts that you left out Kenji getting Brooklynn to cool off about Sammy when they were in the CKK. It was meaningful that he actually was the one to tell her something so adult and level-headed, and it seemed to really impress her. That was the first moment she seemed to realize there was more underneath his glib facade. I also loved her later admitting that Kenji was right about that and bemoaning how wrong it felt to have to say that.
Man! I was expecting not a single ship in the whole series, what a shame. Oh well, I can be happy for the fans of Kenlynn.

I just started watching this show so I’m late to the party. But when I watched season 1, I feel like the writers were trying to set up Darius and Brooklyn, but by the end of season 2, and seeing Kenji and Brooklyn interact more, I knew it was gonna be the two of them instead. Their interactions felt so natural, and they related a lot to each other because they didn’t interact with people their own age growing up. They didn’t have normal childhoods like the other campers. Their relationship was built off of trust and comfort
The moment i knew there was something brewing when kenji stayed with brook in dino hunter camp, and also kenji gets away with sleeping on brooks shoulder.

I accepted the ship after the series season 4 because even though I felt it came out of nowhere, it was mostly because I forgot that these scenes existed due to the season release date schedule so makes it hard to remember some stuff, and also the scenes with Darius and Brooklyn really took up a lot of the seasons at best for me….

I see some people say that Darius cares more about dinosaurs then his friends, and I would like to point out why that is a bit untrue.
First is that one of Darius’s goals from the very beginning has been to get the others home, safe and sound. He even says this multiple times each season, and it’s clear that he prioritizes their survival, sometimes over his own, such as when he tries to do things on his own.
Second is every time he goes to help the dinosaurs, he doesn’t force any of the camp fam to help him. In fact, he attempts to push them away multiple times, like in season 2 with the game hunters, and season 3 with the Scorpios Rex. His friends CHOOSE to help him.
Lastly is that in season 4, Darius prioritizes calling for help over a life threatening fight between Pearce and the T-Rex.
