I understand Japanese. I really appreciate the process and the steps that were shown. I thought the video was well made. Nice explanations from the baker. Wow! Such exordinay skill. It was interesting that the bits that were taken off the top of the cake were eaten by some other people. Ha ha ha. And that he baker said “Mottai-nai” which means ‘don’t let it go to waste’.
Please, please, you don’t need to add music to a video like this to make it interesting. The music is really distracting although this music was low. Actually the sounds of the baking process and the stirring etc. etc. are more interesting and more instructive than having some inane music that repeats and repeats.... it added nothing to the progress of the video.

Well, I have to say, this is the most decadent *Black Forest Cake* I have ever seen!
The amount of attention given and the little embellishments take this cake from a cheap everyday cake (at least in Canada), to an expensive cake you would expect to see at an expensive restaurant.
漫画で見て美味しそうと思ってたやつだ!と思ってなんだったかなぁーとずっと考えてたけど「失恋ショコラティエ」だって気がついてスッキリ😃
実際に見ても美味しそうです🥰

NutMeg Oh that is soo sweet of you. I live in Denmark, and unfortunately I do have diabetes😒 But I watch these things so I have something to cook/make with my grandchildren😉 From chocholate cakes to ice cream. They love it, and I love seeing their faces🥰

It's interesting to see the bakery remove the crust on the cake before building it. I've always been taught to not waste. Beautiful cake and interesting techniques.
I mean, if you mean the top part that's pretty normal I think because most baking videos I've seen do it and I think it's because the crust gives it a texture that you don't really want on the cake since it's dry and crunchy when you want the cake to be soft and moist. Though, you could potentially save them for a snack or for parts of other cakes i guess if you don't want to waste?
He said that he takes the top part off because it crumbles easily. They don’t throw the top part out, they eat it themselves.

@@hebatallah80 The title calls it "Forêt Noir", which means Black Forest. The Black Forest, aka Schwarzwald, is a German region famous for this sort of cake (although this video shows a variation of the German original).
