The whole movie is basically like super Mario brothers, but Luigi is the damsel in distress

Well damn it, there’s a reason why Luigi is the queen piece in Mario chess and not peach or daisy, they may be princesses but they sure as hell aren’t queens
Luigi is always in distress these days. It's because of Luigi's Mansion games where they made Luigi very anxious and nervous person and now these characteristics are his basic traits. But don't mind, they are good games.

It's nice this movie answered some questions about the Super Mario series that had been bothering us for a while like what happened to Mario's dad, Jumpman, how Mario and Luigi ended up in The Mushroom Kingdom l, meeting Princess Peach and becoming their heroes that often saved the kingdom from Bowser, Princess Peach's origins and more.

You missed a lot of interesting points, like how Mario and Donkey Kong had a heartfelt talk inside the eel, realizing that they're not that different from each other, as they both have to deal with the expectations of their respective fathers and the feeling of not being good enough for them.
It's a real issue that people (including me) may find relatable. And there are many more important details like this that you didn't talk about.
Not sure if it was a heartfelt talk more than an Argument or somewhat 😐. Nevertheless it was a good scene between Mario and donkey Kong

You can't really compare the game lore and movie lore like that since they're not the same at all.
For the most part this song was pretty perfect for what you needed to be but it did have some issues
I'm going to course give my opinion on how these issues could have been fixed but keep in mind these are not fully fledged out ideas and you can feel free to take these ideas and twist them however you want to make then better but I'm mostly just pointing this out because I want to see if I'm the only one who thinks this
My name three problems are how three characters are handled.
Specifically Luigi peach and Bowser well none of the characters in the film weren't perfect if I could change anything it would be those three characters and how their story plays out
For the Ouija he would spend the first portion of the film actually with Mario and Mario would be getting gradually better at the course instead of flopping so hard like you did and we'd you would be the one thats struggling.
Luigi would have course think that he's only tracking down the team however after getting kidnapped and breaking out on its own help princess peach escape as well will teach him thathe is actually a useful member of the team that can do whatever he says is mined too and as things go a long he would even learn that so long as he sticks with those he cares about that him and his friends including Mario could do anything together in spite of the odds.
Princess peach should be probably getting the biggest overhaul in terms of a character ark.
Princess peach in this film was of course being portrayed as the woke girlboss that is perfect at everything and can make fun of everyone with no consequences and everybody loves her so much basically a modern MarySue
This change would have her try to be that character perfect at everything and friendly to no one but of course someone like Mario would point this out in overtime after seeing Mario and Luigi's on dynamic princess peach would learn to start opening up
After all even though she would try to be perfect she wouldn't actually be in there would be a couple moments in the film where she does indeed mess up because she doesn't call for help when it's actually necessary
She was basically believe that she has to do everything because she's the princess and everybody is counting on her but thanks tomorrow in the Ouija she learns that not only can she call for help but Mario Luigi even end up being the one's that indirectly convinced peach to go get help from the kongs but of course because of laws and royalty princess peach's forced to get help again calling upon Mario as her champion.
She would start off as the film as a not-so-perfect character that wants to be a Mary Sue for the sake of our kingdom to eventually learning a valuable lesson in teamwork and respecting others no matter their background or what they look like
And of course Bowser's goals would change completely his goals unbenounced the audience would be to conquer all of the land and split it up between his children which would not be revealed until the 2nd film
Bowser of course will be after all the stars because with the power of the Stars his rule would be uncontested but of course on his way to do that he would see princess peach and observe the character that she's trying to be and believed her to be such
At first he would try to ignore it but then he would find he's legitimately in love with her and will try to pull her to the side of the war to talk to her personally
His minions would misinterpret this as kidnapping princess peach and incidentally Luigi and Bowser wouldn't even jump the gun marriage yet instead he would just offer for her to join him in his conquest as his partner and war with plans to get to know her better in the future
Chief course reject him and isn't necessarily the softest about it which causes him to try to throw her out but before he can do that Luigi and princess peach escaped together
And of course towards the end instead of a wedding it's a Ransom scene where he threatens to kill everybody if princess peach doesn't give him the star she of course does give him the star but then as soon as Mario comes in and tries to free everyone hates then gets her moment to fight Bowser alongside the help of the Ouija and some of her own toads being able to suppress Bowser temporarily
(teaching Luigi here he is valuable into princess poppy say it's okay to trust others in that Luigi and Mario really are her allies)
Following the movie after Bowser's defeat and capture Bowser Junior leading his siblings the koopalings would be trying to get their father and it would be revealed that Bowser was just trying to conquer land for his children to rule and princess peach just basically became a side mission whenever he was interested so now the koopa children want their father back
