Looking forward to the left hand walks and broken chords and inversions. Thank you for your effort and time to do these great lessons. I only have access to a piano on sundays. So I watch and watch again and again.😢I taught preschool and had to learn the scales at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California.
You do a wonderful job presenting your instructions. I know you must be spending a lot of time preparing these lessons and I can’t express how much I appreciate your efforts. In the commentary, you state: ‘if you go through the program start to finish.’ Should we tackle the lessons a a specific order? Are you releasing them in the order in which we should study them? Again, thanks for providing this incredible resource.
@@frgreen4 Hi, thanks for your comment here, as this is very helpful for me! There really is not a set order except that I think learning to do “chording” (so just playing the chords) is probably a good starting point. It really depends on what your current abilities are, and what you are drawn to. If a particular lesson is on something you really want to learn how to do well, you could focus on that. I hope that makes sense and that it’s helpful for you!
Hi Dan, I've only recently come across your Country Piano Program and it's just what I have been looking for. The way you explain everything really slowly makes it easy to follow and although I'm finding the lessons I've tried so far easy for me I have enjoyed going through them and learning the style in a proper way from someone who really knows his stuff. Although I'm looking forward to the more advanced lessons that I am sure will follow I will go through everything thoroughly to get a good foundation in the basics. Thinking of piano music that have really inspired me there is one that has stood out from way back in my youth that I would love to be able to play and although it's not a country song it has a lot of similarities and is called Just One Look' . The original was recorded by Doris Troy with Ernie Hayes on piano who was a great session player in his day, the song has been covered by many but my favorite version of all (for the piano part) is the live recording by Linda Ronstadt with a fantastic performance by Billy Payne of Little Feat fame. Check it out if you get time, I would love to learn to play that song part. ua-cam.com/video/IsEwBzfdMnk/v-deo.html Thanks for the lessons, keep up the good work.
Looking forward to all of it. Thanks Dan.

@@raquellopez112 I see. Have you thought about getting a light, portable keyboard 🎹?
Having room for it is also a consideration, as it’s best to keep it set up.
But, you can stand it up against a wall or somewhere that it’s out of the way if you need to.
