as a pretty new drummer that really wants to learn DM style drumming i gotta say watching this mf go off is an absolute masterclass in figuring out what makes the genre distinctive in the most important ways regarding drums. so good

Ohio's hardcore scene is much bigger than that of metal, despite that everyone just kinda plays together. That's how 200SW and Sanguisugabogg manage to make it onto hardcore fest lineups lol
Some of the members played in a crossover/thrash band called Subtype Zero before 200 Stab Wounds. And the Ohio scene is and has been shifting to death metal.
