Trip to Rashmi Farms, Poynad.
Here is the Google map link if you are driving : goo.gl/maps/23.... The roads are pretty good minus the last 3-4 km just before the house (approx 10 mins).
The caretaker Anil Dada lives just outside the property with his family and he helps out with anything & everything.
If you would like meals on the property, he can organize simple, home cooked meals (veg/non veg).
The village of Poynad (about 15 mins drive) has a small supermarket and fresh fruit and vegetables should you need. Please note that there are no shops or restaurants within walkable distance from the farm.
Please carry medicines and any emergency medication you might need.
The farm is set in a tiny village and you can spend your time exploring the farm, or the village around it. The Sagargad fort is a 3 hr hike from the farm (the house faces the mountain on top of which the fort lies) - it is unguided and unmarked though, so its only for the intrepid (highly recommended in the monsoons). The nearest beaches would be Alibag and Kihim (about 45 mins away)
